Sushi Yoru Reviews
Sushi Yoru is fantastic! I have been coming here for years and have lunch pretty regularly. The food is always fresh and made to order. They also offer sushi platters which are not only delicious, but beautiful and also a great value. The pictures are of a takeout order I did a couple of days ago. The sushi platter includes edamame, dumplings, and four miso soups. This was a delicious and filling meal for four people. The restaurant is owned by an older couple with husband as the sushi chef and the wife taking care of the customers and the phone. They are very nice and friendly.Disregard the a-hole who left the one-star review because the restaurant was closed. The husband recently had eye surgery and they were closed while he recovered and the wife took care of him. This place is worth a visit and I suggest calling ahead to make sure they are open.
March 23 · Pavel OsovetsGreat food in a strip mall. If you are looking for delicious and a good price… this is it! My tuna dragon was awesome. The seaweed salad perfect. The free miso soup was good. All the rolls we had were tasty. Big order of edamame but a little bland. Mom and pop ran the place. I’d go back if I’m ever here again
May 05 · John ElmerSince moving to the area almost 2 years ago, my husband and I really enjoy good sushi, and this place is truly a hidden gem! We’ve tried a couple of other local places, but honestly, this is the one place we just always go to when the craving for amazing sushi hits! The owners are very nice and friendly. I believe it’s just them there, too. The female owner is always pleasant on the phone when we call to place our large order! Her husband (I think) is the sushi “chef.” Most times you do have to order a little in advance for takeout/pickup, but I promise it’s worth the wait! It’s fresh and made-to-order, just like great sushi should be! Every roll is perfection and made with care, and very tasty! We’ve never had a bad experience here, ever.I hope this restaurant continues to thrive because we need it!! Hands down, the best sushi we’ve ever had! If you haven’t tried it, just do it!
April 05 · Ashley SwanlundThis qant little sushi corner was very surprising. Don't judge a book by is cover. It was our 1st time our family has ate at Sushi Yoru, we sat down for dinner and our 2 younger girls loved it! They loved watching the sushi chef at work! The food was delicious and portions are good as well!
April 24 · aaron youngThis is easily the most fresh, tasty, and more than reasonably priced sushi I’ve ever had. The entire experience, atmosphere, and dishes felt like home cooking in a really good way. I’m literally going back tomorrow, and would recommend anyone to eat here.
