SushiMakio Reviews
Great vibe and food at this nexpected gem!Inspired Japanese standards from a chef owner who spent years in Manhattan. The mussels in teriyaki sake broth were fantastic as were the sushi and rolls. The chef also made a great recommendation when they didn’t have snapper. The staff are very attentive, thoughtful and the place was busy. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!
Apr 12, 2025 · Jeanne GillilandIncredible sushi. Quality was excellent and priced really well. Will definitely be back!
May 18, 2025 · Caitlin McLaughlinone of the best sushi restaurants i’ve ever been to in my life. i hope the locals know how good they have it because as a nyc native, half of the restaurants there don’t even hold a candle to the quality of this spot. this restaurant is so worth the trek upstate!!
May 25, 2025 · Helen BuiThis is my first time trying this place and I’m pretty disappointed. With their prices I expected better. They have good reviews and all of the posted pictures look great, so maybe I had bad luck tonight. Both of my rolls were SO SKIMPY, barely any avocado, eel sauce etc. Also the way they were rolled was really sloppy.. maybe if there was more filling they wouldn't have to roll it over itself again.
Mar 18, 2025 · Deanna MI ordered fusion, philadelphia and graffiti rolls. It was all delicious and savory. Also miso soup and edamame was delicious too. People were nice and friendly. They also have special appetizer of the day too. It’s a little small place but cozy and nice local restaurant! I really recommend this place if you like sushi. 🍣
