Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya Reviews
Great spot off of Clark away from the crowds. Super cozy and I ran into friends my first time here which was nice. Lots of options for ramen which makes it my go-to, and when you’re done eating you can walk over to the lake and watch the sunset. Staff is friendly and informative, you’ll have a great time.
May 18, 2025 · Kawkab TariqFirst time tried this ramen place and feels totally underrated. As you know, it’s very hard to find a good ramen place in Chicago or suburbs nearby, especially you have tried the one in Japan. Tanaka’s noodles and broths are great combination. Love their spicy bowl. What a surprised that they have a Gluten Free option. Highly recommended for anyone! Definitely will come back!
Feb 12, 2025 · Junni LiuThe food was so delicious. I love ramen but I have never felt so amazed by how good it is except for here. The food also comes pretty fast as well as the drinks. They have vegan options too. This is my first time here and Im definitely going to keep this place in mind. The noodles were such a nice texture when you chew, the broth is so good, the pork is sooo good too. I'm full but if I had more space I would get another bowl. The boba was very good too and came super fast. The atmosphere is so nice I love the lighting very calm and a little dim. They also have some r&b music its nice if you like that music, and its not english or overplayed songs. The service was really nice too they made sure to fill your water up and they didnt mix up anyones orders. I love this place
Nov 17, 2024 · camila lalalaToday, I suddenly had a craving for noodles and happened to come across this restaurant by chance. This bowl of ramen was an absolute delight! The rich, flavorful broth had a deep umami taste with just the right amount of spice. The chashu pork was tender and juicy, complementing the chewy noodles perfectly. The marinated soft-boiled eggs were cooked to perfection, with a creamy yolk that blended beautifully with the broth. Topped with fresh bean sprouts and scallions, the dish had a nice balance of textures and flavors. A satisfying and comforting meal—I’m glad I found this place!
Feb 20, 2025 · Jia Liucute interior! the spicy creamy vegan ramen was soo fire. it’s hard to find vegetarian ramen that is flavorful but i really enjoyed. the noodles were green? and there was an aftertaste i didn’t enjoy. also the truffle fries were just frozen fries with like a slight truffle touch nothing crazy. i’d go for the vegan ramen tho :)
