Neighborhood gem! Wonderful experience! Loved the purple yam tempura. Super friendly staff. Smart to keep the menu to only few selections thus food is fresh all the time. And thoughtfully they have less sodium choices, will try next time .
Feb 17, 2025 · run runI've literally been thinking about going back since my friend took me here a few weeks ago. Ramen was absolutely phenomenal. The broth was so rich and creamy. I got my soup spicy and it actually had a little kick. Plenty of meat in the ramen and their marinated eggs are delicious. I left stuffed. The price is decent too
Mar 18, 2025 · Cassian FelicianoI wish Google had half star ratings because this would be a 3 1/2 star rating. I came in the afternoon rush and was seated right away. We ordered the sliced pork spicy ramen and an appetizer of pork buns. The pork buns were the BEST but I’ve have had better ramen broth in other places. The ramen was ok and the service was good. I definitely will come back for those pork buns!
Jan 06, 2025 · Krammer AvillanSuch a disappointment. Decided to try because of the good reviews which now I cannot understand. Ramen broth really lacked any flavor. It was super salty but without any real flavor. Other ramens places I’ve been to have a very rich broth. This just tastes like salt. Besides that portions are small. Will not be returning.
May 23, 2025 · Julie RobinNestled in Brooklyn's Bay Ridge, this Japanese eatery offers a focused menu centered around satisfying ramen bowls, complemented by a few appetizers and drinks. We indulged in two excellent ramen options. The tonkotsu ramen was a rich and deeply flavorful experience, featuring a creamy pork bone broth that was truly satisfying. The chicken bone broth ramen, elevated by a top-notch black garlic oil, offered a more nuanced and aromatic profile that was equally delicious. Both bowls were brimming with generous portions of noodles and toppings, including perfectly cooked eggs and tender meats (roasted pork in the tonkotsu and steamed chicken in the chicken bone). Despite their names, neither bowl contained any bones, just pure ramen goodness. The standout appetizer, however, was undoubtedly the purple yam fries. These were simply delicious, their natural sweetness elevated by a wonderfully spicy mayonnaise dipping sauce. Overall, this restaurant provides a solid and enjoyable ramen experience in Bay Ridge, with the black garlic oil in the chicken bone broth ramen being a particular highlight and the purple yam fries being a must-try.
