Tengu Ramen Reviews
Had to try the new ramen joint in town. It was nice to sit in the old place. i spent so much time in as a kid when it was worlds best pizza. The Ramen was good. We had the dumplings, spring rolls, and a chicken rice bowl. All was good. The fried chicken was a little dry, but the spicy sauce was flavorful. We will be back.
Jan 08, 2025 · Shayn Mitchell Icon IndustriesWas looking forward to this place. Had the seafood Ramen which was okay. The broth and noodles were excellent, but the actual taste/freshness of the seafood items for a small $22 bowl were a little lackluster (crab legs, squid, and deep fried crab). The plain udon noodles I got however was not so great but my son liked it. Lastly, the dumplings tasted fine and the beef bowl was dry but okay. The restaurant is clean and has an eastern style roof inside which makes it look like you’re eating at a ramen stand (I’ll take pictures next time). As any grand opening they were busy so I didn’t get any refills on my water. I’ll try this place one more time and give an update.
Jan 12, 2025 · M VangME My wife and friend Went opening day. We all got different Ramen bowls. I had the chicken Ramen, my wife had the tonkatsu pork bowl and our friend had the spicy pork bowl. My bowl was very tasty. It wasn't spicy but had lots of flavor. I really enjoyed it. My wife liked the noodles and broth but wasn't too happy with the pork. She still will come back and try something different. Our friend really enjoyed her spicy pork Ramen. She is from Taiwan and she's had lots of Ramen in her life. We liked how the restaurant was decorated. The music was a bit loud so we asked if they could turn it down some. They happily turned it down. Overall we were pleased with the service, the feel of the restaurant and most importantly the food!
Jan 04, 2025 · Keith HLet me start with the fact that I’ve never left a bad review for anyone’s business before. But This was the absolute worst service I have ever had. DO NOT EAT HERE. The lady working today (tuesday) was sooo rude and ignored us the whole time and acted like she couldn’t understand us. She gave my husband the wrong food but couldn’t correct it unless she charged us AGAIN. What?!? So we left with the wrong food, went to El polo loco across the street and just got a couple tacos.. because at that point I wasn’t going to fight with the lady and I wasn’t going to pay $70 for 2 meals (one wrong that she misunderstood) and then our 2 correct meals. Is this a joke? She was so rude to us and we will never be back. Karma will get you though lady!! Ugliness gets you nowhere in life. Kindness always wins. ANDTHIS IS YOUR JOB!! You absolutely should not be working there!! Or anywhere with customer service. And in front of my small children. Wow.
May 07, 2025 · Tyler FeatherstoneOverall it was good. We had the rocking n roll, that was delicious. However the spicy ramen was a bit disappointing. The noodles didn’t taste al dente. The fried dumplings tasted as if they had been previously frozen. The staff was busy but tried to remain attentive with guests. I’d go back and try other items on their menu.
