Thirsty Hop Reviews
Our friends suggested meeting up at The Thirsty Hop, and though a hop shop with sushi seemed like a strange mix, it turned out to be a great combination! As you walk in, the cozy vibe is immediately inviting, especially on a cold, rainy day with an inviting fireplace to sit next to. They even have games to play! The beer selection was decent with plenty of choices, and the sushi was surprisingly delicious! We ordered quite a bit, with the Hawaiian tuna being a standout favorite—we liked it so much, we ordered it twice. We also tried a variety of other dishes, including wings, gyoza, and rolls, and everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. As we left, the place was getting busy. We wish them the best of luck and hope they continue to stay busy!
Dec 08, 2024 · HollyThirsty Hop was a fun dinner. I appreciated the interesting mix of craft beer and sushi. The space inside was a combination of sushi restaurant and bar - super cool. Food overall was nice, and service was great.
Dec 24, 2024 · Jeremy YowellThis sushi joint was nice and cozy, a bit small.Good for solo dinning. Set up is like a coffee shop.Good quality fish, but seems like they are working out kinks like a new place. Accidentally gave us a roll we didn’t order. Also they forgot about our edamame, we asked at the end to have that removed from our bill!Parts of the roll were falling apart, weren’t rolled tight enough.Service was great!! Staff were sweet and were able to problem solve.I wasn’t a fan of how quiet the place was. Not a place for big groups, it was even weird talking with. Husband there because of how quiet it was.Ordered:Triple spicySpinner roll jumboEl fernoMiso soupSeaweed salad

May 19, 2025 · Emily HI’ve been coming to Thirsty Hop since 2015 and after a few years away I’m pleased to find that they STILL SERVE FULL PINTS!!! No cheater glassware, no silly shaped vessels, just full pints. As a craft beer connoisseur it is becoming harder and harder to source. The beer selection is varied with their available tap list updated in real time online. Perfect. On top of that, they now specialize in sushi! What a combo! Great vibe!
