Apr 24, 2025 · Dee LOne of my fav ramen spot in NYC!The ramen broth is rich and flavorful. They use thick bamboo shoots, most places use thing ones. The pork was just okay. But overall a solid bowl of ramen.I had to try the shaved ice in freezing winter because the photos looked irresistible. It is HUGE! I froze to the core for this massive shaved ice, and it delivered: balanced sweetness and earthy matcha flavor. Can't wait to have it in summer. The chicken wings are just okay. The place was busy, but I snagged a bar seat without waiting. Highly recommend and I'll definitely come again!
Mar 23, 2025 · GraceOne of my new favorite ramen spots in NYC! I was craving some ramen for lunch and made a reservation same day. I was surprised that there were only a few openings left for lunchtime on a weekday. Party of 1 only allows you to reserve bar seating which made sense when I got there since it was packed.I made a reservation for 2:00 but arrived at 1:30. The hostess was extremely friendly and was able to seat me right away. The menu is by QR code but I already knew what I wanted. Had my order taken the food came out rather quick.I had the Lunch Set Special for $27, which was an Ume Rice Ball and the Ginger Miso Ramen, which are both vegan menu options. I am not vegan but felt like doing my cholesterol a favor today. The Rice Ball was amazing, the pickled plum was top notch and tasted just right. I liked having the ginger to add in too.The Ginger Miso Ramen piqued my interest because it’s not a flavor I’d seen before in the realms of Miso or Vegan so I wanted to try it out. It had a very deep flavor with the right amount of spice, not overpowering. All of the toppings/mix ins worked perfectly. The service was excellent and my water was constantly being refilled by any employee who noticed it getting low.I recommend and will definitely be back!
Feb 25, 2025 · Joseph RappTOCHIN NEW YORK is the best Ramen restaurant in New York! We have been coming here for lunch, dinner all the time since we moved to New York from Paris. We have tried so many Ramen in NYC, TOCHIN is the best of the best Ramen restaurants for me. Interior design is simple and classic, I appreciate the aesthetic concept, it's a pleasure to dine in such an environment. We took all the friends here all the time when they come to visit NYC. I strongly recommend you to make a reservation for this best Michelin recommendation restaurant.
Mar 09, 2025 · CJL - GThe food was very delicious. The service was phenomenal. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and gave some great recommendations. I found the starters were so good, especially the cucumber. I also liked their ume rice ball. The ban ban kinoko ramen was a bit spicy for me but that's just my tolerance. Save room for dessert. I especially liked the signature Tokyo banana. I've been here a few times now and each time the experience has been fantastic. I really like this restaurant and will continue to return.
