Torishin Reviews
I visited Torishin in April 2025 and had such a memorable experience! From the moment I stepped inside, the staff made me feel so welcomed and at ease - I instantly knew I was going to have a good time. I chose the Omakase option, which was a perfect way to try a range of dishes even though I'm not the most adventurous eater. The staff were incredibly thoughtful, checking in with my friend and me ahead of our meal to see if we preferred certain cuts of meat so they could tailor the experience to our individual tastes.Throughout the meal, our server was attentive and knowledgeable, always nearby to answer questions and make sure we were comfortable and enjoying everything. Watching the chef prepare each course right in front of us made the atmosphere even more special and added to the night! As for the food itself - it was absolutely incredible. My favorite dishes were their popular chicken "scallops," which were so juicy and flavorful, and the gindara fish, which was perfectly flaky and delicious.Between the warm service, the amazing food, and the lively, welcoming atmosphere, Torishin truly gave me a night to remember. I can't wait to come back!

Apr 22, 2025 · Youphoria Marketing AgencyWent here for a date night & as soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted & escorted to the chef’s select counter! This experience exceeded all expectations! It’s totally worth the premium as your tastebuds are transported to various textures and flavors with each bite.I appreciated the accommodations & friendly service of our waiter and the two chefs behind the counter that evening. We were able to converse easily with the chefs while they worked their magic with each dish.I have to note that the sake was also delicious (& strong)! Would highly recommend this establishment & for people to book a time slot for their select counter!

Apr 25, 2025 · Laurent BordierMy partner and I dined at Torishin last year (3/1/24), and had one of the most memorable meals of our life. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was outstanding (huge shout out to Yuriko! I'm so sorry it took me so long to write this review!), and the overall experience made it feel like we were visiting Japan all over again. We both ordered the omakase special and our server, Yuriko, helped us choose two bottles of sake that both fit our personal preferences and complemented our meal. The omakase special was perfectly paced and each serving is perfectly sized so that you will definitely be full and satisfied by the end of the 15 courses. Even though we were already full near the end of the courses, I was dying to try a couple of items from the a la carte menu, and the crispy skin, pork, and duck breast skewers did not disappoint! We also really enjoyed watching the chefs as they worked in the kitchen, mere feet away. They made our meal particularly special as it was my birthday and they brought out my matcha ice cream with a candle and say happy birthday to me! They even offered to take photos of us. Everyone, from the hostess to Yuriko to the chefs, were so welcoming and kind, and I still think of our meal and experience at Torishin fondly.Last but not least, I have a shellfish and fish allergy and they made sure that there was no cross contamination.
