We just landed to SF, randomly looked up a decent looking sushi spot in the area and decided to try Toyama. Place looks ok, nothing special. I decide to try their omakase, not really expecting much. This ends up being one of the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had — what the hell?! Something like 12 amazing pieces for ~$50. Totally a hidden gym.

really solid spot in the area, spacious and good service. the rolls were great, though a bit on the saucier side. the hand roll was surprisingly good too, liked how the spicy scallop was just some sriracha mayo on top of a clean scallop. lunch set fish all pretty fresh!

So lucky I found this place and now it becomes my hidden gem.Food is delicious and portion is large, definitely worth the price.Recommend the 13-pieces Omakase in chief's special menu, if you never tried Omakase and want to have a experience but not too expensive, this is the one. Amazing style and tastes so good.Service very nice, 10/10.
