Ubu Reviews
One of the best sushi I‘ve ever had, it was amazing. The staff was so kind end the space, even if small is intimate and cozy. If back in NY, I will be back here too!
Mar 04, 2025 · Elena StendardoAll the sushi was impressive, and it's the only restaurant I've been to that offers a large selection of cooked sushi. We were given a complimentary 3 piece Seared Salmon sushi. It was delicious. The ramen ordered was decent, but it has the thinner type of ramen noodles, and the soup was okay. I prefer the thicker chewie ramen noodles. The plain miso soup was a bit too salty. Avocado salad was fresh and tasty. The server/waiter was very pleasant and accommodating. I asked for no sweet sauces and to have the sushi with minimal rice, and he accommodated with no issues. The restaurant itself is small and cozy. The Saturday evening we went wasn't busy and we were quite happy with not sitting in a crowded noisy place. Yet, the restaurant was quite busy with phone orders. I'll definitely go back to try more of the large selection of raw and cooked sushi and the Korean dishes.

Mar 22, 2025 · pooky pkI've been meaning to try Ubu for a while, and let's just say best sushi takeout in Hoboken by far. I ordered for pick up this afternoon, and it was ready in under ten minutes. I was immediately greeted with smiles when I walked in, which was very warming. The quality is amazing, the service is amazing, and the ambience is very cute. The people working there are the sweetest. Definitely will be recommending to friends and family.
