Umaizushi Introduce
For those in Georgia with a craving for authentic Japanese cuisine, finding a convenient and satisfying spot can be a delightful quest. Whether you're a seasoned sushi enthusiast or looking to explore the delicate flavors of Japanese cooking for the first time, Umaizushi offers a unique and accessible option right here in the Atlanta area. It’s a place designed to bring a taste of Japan to busy travelers and locals alike, ensuring you don’t have to compromise on quality even when you’re on the go.
Umaizushi has carved out its niche by providing a Japanese dining experience that blends convenience with a focus on fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. It aims to be more than just a quick bite; it's a destination where you can unwind and enjoy a well-prepared meal. This overview will guide you through what makes Umaizushi a noteworthy stop for Japanese food lovers in Georgia, from its strategic location to the variety of services and features it offers.
One of Umaizushi’s most distinctive features is its location. You’ll find this Japanese restaurant conveniently situated within the bustling
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Specifically, Umaizushi is located at Concourse C, N Terminal Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30337, USA. This prime spot makes it an ideal choice for travelers passing through Atlanta, offering a refreshing and flavorful alternative to typical airport fare.
For locals in Georgia, while Umaizushi’s airport location might seem exclusive to travelers, it's actually quite accessible if you're already at the airport for a flight or picking up/dropping off someone. Its placement in Concourse C means it’s easily reachable once you’ve navigated through security. This accessibility caters to those with layovers or pre-flight dining needs, but it can also be a destination for a quick, unique meal if you’re already within the airport's confines for other reasons.
Umaizushi focuses on providing a streamlined yet satisfying dining experience, particularly suited for its dynamic airport environment. Here are some of the services you can expect:
- Dine-in Service: Enjoy your meal at the counter or tables, offering a comfortable spot to eat and relax before your flight.
- Quick Service for Travelers: The restaurant understands the time constraints of airport guests and strives for efficient service to accommodate tight schedules.
- Basic Sushi Selection: Offers a selection of classic sushi rolls, providing familiar and popular options for a quick and satisfying meal.
- Limited Drink Selection: A small variety of beverages is available to complement your meal.
- Takeaway Options: For those in a rush, it's possible to get your meal to go, ensuring you can enjoy Umaizushi's offerings even if you don't have time to sit down.
Despite being located in a busy airport, Umaizushi aims to provide a pleasant and memorable experience. Here are some of its notable features and highlights:
- Concourse C Convenience: Its location within Concourse C makes it a prime spot for travelers looking for a quick and decent meal before or between flights in that specific concourse.
- Time-Killing Spot: Many patrons appreciate Umaizushi as a good place to pass the time while waiting for their flight, offering a more relaxed environment than some other airport eateries.
- Friendly Bartenders/Staff: Customers often highlight the pleasant and accommodating nature of the staff, particularly the bartenders, contributing to a positive dining experience.
- Effort for Freshness: Despite the fast-paced setting, there is an evident effort to provide fresh ingredients, particularly with their sushi offerings.
- Vegetarian Options Available: For those seeking plant-based choices, Umaizushi generally offers vegetarian rolls and other suitable dishes like edamame.
- Free Wi-Fi: As an added convenience, visitors can enjoy free Wi-Fi, which is particularly beneficial for travelers needing to stay connected.
As an airport establishment, Umaizushi’s promotional activities may vary and are often geared towards general convenience rather than specific discounts. Due to the high traffic and transient nature of airport clientele, traditional long-term promotions like those found in standalone restaurants are less common. However, it's always a good idea to check with the restaurant directly upon arrival for any current specials or temporary offers they might have available. Airport dining spots occasionally offer seasonal items or meal deals that could provide added value, so inquire when you visit.
For direct inquiries or to confirm hours of operation, you can reach Umaizushi using the following information:
Address: Concourse C, N Terminal Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30337, USA
Phone: While a specific phone number for this airport location isn't widely publicized for direct customer calls, general airport information lines or online search may provide a contact if available. For immediate needs, visiting in person is often the most direct method.
While Umaizushi is situated within Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, it offers a distinctive and valuable dining option for locals in Georgia, particularly those already navigating the airport environment. For residents dropping off or picking up loved ones, or perhaps catching a flight themselves, Umaizushi presents a convenient and reliable choice for quality Japanese food.
It stands out from typical airport fast food by providing freshly prepared sushi and other Japanese staples. If you're looking for a quick, satisfying, and relatively healthy meal before a flight, or simply want to enjoy a moment of tranquility amidst the airport’s hustle, Umaizushi fits the bill. The friendly service often noted by patrons ensures a pleasant interaction, and the efforts to offer fresh items mean you can enjoy a decent Japanese meal without needing to leave the airport premises. It’s a pragmatic and pleasant stop for anyone in Georgia seeking a taste of Japan within the confines of Atlanta’s major transportation hub, offering a consistent experience for those who prioritize convenience without sacrificing a taste of quality Asian cuisine.

Umaizushi Reviews
Decent place for a quick stop before catching a flight, small drink selection, basic sushi, don’t recommend the teriyaki chicken, mostly bread. Our bartender was very nice. We killed time before our flight, great if you have to catch a flight on C concourse.
Jan 27, 2025 · Amanda RomingerVery confusing as to how to be seated. Finally inquired at bar abs was told to sit anywhere. Cali roll and miso soup were very mid…soup wasn’t even worthy of being called soup. Went at lunchtime, extremely limited menu. Overall very sad experience.
Jan 20, 2025 · Amanda KenyonIf you are at ATL airport and you MUST have sushi, this is an option. The prices are airport prices, expensive and while the food is not bad, the price doesn't always match the quality. For appetizers, I got the spring rolls. They were good, but way too small.I also got me a Philadelphia roll and this was a let down. Philadelphia roll is a very common sushi roll in many restaurants, nothing fancy and these looked like they came out of a gas station. The poke bowl was descent but the portion was again, too small.Overall, it's not a bad place to eat, it gets away with being pricey just because it is in the airport. It is definitely an option but I would look around before sitting down to have dinner at Umaizushi again.
Feb 05, 2024 · Rafael OteroDo not come here for a variety of sushi. If. You want gas station sushi. Come here.Philadelphia roll is 14$. Blue Moon draft 12$.There is a Carrabas right across the street with cheaper food. A beer should never be same cost as a basic roll.Oh also, they make you pay for your bill online, manually with a card.
May 31, 2025 · Justin ScaliseThis place used to be packed. I stopped today and had to ask if they were open yet. The server said it's slow because they changed the menu...it's slow because with only two people I had to ask for lemon three times. It's slow because they serve your food on "take out" sushi plates and charge a premium but it feels cheap. It's slow because people don't return when their sushi is rolled sloppily and cut so large (almost 2 inches in length) it isn't edible. Please take these notes and improve because this place used to be a great place to stop in C.
