Wabi on Rose Reviews
First time in Cali so you know we couldn’t pass up even fresher sushi! Everything was 10/10, despite us coming to nearly closing time the waitress was understanding and checked in to ensure our needs were meet. Food was absolutely delicious, the drinks… incredible. The way everything melted in your mouth, best believe next time we visit we are stopping back here!!
Jan 09, 2025 · Alexis SommersExcellent Venice vibes, expensive cocktails (that are not as stiff as I’d like), and very fresh sushi. I think that with a slight reduction in price, this place would offer value that would bring in more of my business. But at this price point, I’m better off elsewhere.
Apr 03, 2025 · Anish Thakkar (Doc Thakkar)I loved the drinks, the food and the ambiance. Maria was so cool and fun. She made great drinks and amazing food recommendations based on my preferences. I'll go back again 💯The crispy rice and the yellowtail specials were amazing!
Nov 30, 2024 · Shayan ModiriSuper cute spot on Rose! Cool vibe inside and instagram worthy patio seating.Came for the happy hour - only available at bar seating. Great price for drinks at $5!Food-wise, I had the chicken, roll of the day, and salmon sushi. Salmon sushi and the roll were both great! Chicken was just good but not a wow - spend your money on something else - it’s just fried chicken bites. Lesson learned, stick with the sushi!Would like to come back to try the omakase tasting menu. Bartender told me it was $125 and came with 6 or 7 courses with dessert.Service-wise, the first bartender I had was great. Very attentive. I think I caught them in a shift change though bc he left and then it took a while to get their attention for drink refill and to pay my check. Timing wise on the food though, everything came out quick and they were on top of clearing the dirty plates.Overall, highly recommend!
Nov 02, 2024 · Jordan WoodMy sister was visiting and found this place on a gluten friendly app it had great reviews and many GF options. We arrived without a reservation but were still greeted with a smile and shown to a couple of tables for walk-ins.After a few minutes, Sidney came and introduced himself to take our drink order. Sidney was met with a berage of questions about the menu being GF. Sidney let us know that the restaurant had decided to go away from the Gluten friendly menu at least 6 months ago. He did, however, take the time to go through the menu with my sister althewhile suggesting some amazing selections from the daily specials. They still have some really great GF options, and my sister was very pleased with the meal that she had. The classic California roll made with blue crab and the Philly roll were perfect. We also had a few other rolls, including the tiger roll (gf), the Rick James, and the girlfriend jeans. all of our selections were very appealing and tasted excellent. Sidney was exceptional throughout the evening and is one of the reasons why I will be returning to this restaurant, with a reservation, of course.
