Wabi Sabi Miami focuses on delivering a refined Japanese dining experience through several key services:
- Dine-In Experience: The primary service is providing an exceptional in-house dining experience. Guests can enjoy their meals in a clean, crisp, and beautifully laid out space that embodies the "Japanadi" aesthetic – a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian minimalism.
- A La Carte Menu: Wabi Sabi offers a concise yet comprehensive menu featuring a selection of high-quality sushi, nigiri, and sashimi, as well as their renowned donburi bowls. These bowls often feature fresh seafood over a base of sushi rice, cha-soba noodles, or greens, offering a customizable and satisfying meal.
- Omakase Offerings: For those seeking the ultimate culinary adventure, Wabi Sabi provides various Omakase options. This chef-selected tasting menu ensures you experience the freshest and most exquisite seasonal ingredients available, presented with artistic precision. Options typically include Nigiri Omakase, Sashimi Omakase, and Chirashi Omakase.
- Specialty Beverages: The restaurant offers a selection of beverages to complement the meal, including a standout whipped green tea, a variety of cold-pressed juices, and sake.
- Private Dining & Catering: Wabi Sabi Miami offers Omakase private dining in guests' homes for parties of up to 12 (with a six-person minimum) and catering for events up to 60 guests. Menus are customized to preferences and require a week's notice.
- Takeout Options: While the in-house experience is highly recommended, takeout is available for those who wish to enjoy their fresh Japanese cuisine at home. They have even offered a "takeout omakase bento box" in the past.
- Eco-Conscious Initiatives: Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, Wabi Sabi encourages guests to bring their own bottles, bowls, or boxes for takeout, offering a discount as an incentive. They also aim for low-waste operations, including initiatives like starting a compost bin.
What makes Wabi Sabi Miami a true standout for locals in Florida? Here are its distinguishing features and highlights:
- Exceptional Freshness and Quality: Customer reviews consistently rave about the "incredibly fresh, buttery, and melts in your mouth" quality of the sushi and sashimi. This dedication to sourcing top-tier ingredients, often directly from Tokyo's Toyosu fish market, is a core highlight.
- Refined "Japanadi" Aesthetic: The restaurant's decor is praised for being "clean, crisp and perfectly laid out," with a simple yet elegant design that blends Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian functionality. This creates a tranquil and welcoming ambiance that allows the food to be the star.
- Unique Culinary Touches: Small, thoughtful details elevate the dining experience. A prime example is the soy sauce presentation, served with a "little paintbrush" to apply just the right amount, showcasing attention to detail and reverence for the ingredients. The whipped green tea is also a noted standout.
- Diverse Omakase Options: Wabi Sabi offers a range of Omakase experiences at various price points, making high-end, chef-curated sushi accessible. This allows diners to explore an ever-changing array of seasonal and hard-to-find ingredients.
- Signature Donburi Bowls: Beyond traditional sushi, their donburi bowls are a popular and filling option, praised for their freshness and flavor. The ability to customize with different bases and sauces adds to their appeal.
- Impressive Desserts: Even dessert receives high praise, with mentions of perfectly sweet seasonal Japanese strawberries and unforgettable ube mochi, showcasing a commitment to quality from start to finish.
- Outstanding Service: The staff is consistently described as "warm," "welcoming," "attentive," and "10/10." This focus on hospitality ensures a pleasant and memorable dining experience.
While Wabi Sabi Miami doesn't appear to advertise regular, broad public promotions like daily happy hours in the conventional sense, their special offerings lean towards curated experiences and value-added services:
- Lunch-Friendly Twist on High-End Dining: Their menu, while offering dishes found at high-end omakase spots, has a "lunch friendly twist," implying that certain items or portions may be more accessible for a midday meal. For instance, their Chirashi Omakase is noted as being a more affordable yet filling option compared to other omakase experiences in Miami.
- Eco-Friendly Discounts: As part of their low-waste initiative, Wabi Sabi offers incentives for environmentally conscious customers. Guests who bring their own reusable bottle, bowl, or box for takeout orders may receive $1 off their purchase. Additionally, if customers bring back their specialized "shidashi sushi box" for a new order, they can receive a significant discount ($50 off), promoting reusability for their luxury catering.
- Private Dining and Catering: While not a discount, the tailored private dining and catering services offer a unique way to experience Wabi Sabi's high-quality cuisine for special events, providing a custom menu designed to guests' preferences.

Wabi Sabi Miami Reviews
I’ve driven past Wabi Sabi 100 times without realizing I’ve been missing this GEM all along. You’re instantly greeted by a warm staff with a welcoming ambiance. The decor is clean, crisp and perfectly laid out. The menu is something you may find at other high end omakase spots with a lunch friendly twist. We ordered a special, a bowl, and a chirashi omakase. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Will be back asap!
Apr 03, 2025 · Izzy & Co.I almost want to gatekeep this place, but Wabi Sabi is too good not to share. Everything about the experience is exceptional. The green tea alone is a standout—whipped to perfection with a foamy top unlike anything I’ve ever had. The sushi? Incredibly fresh, buttery, and melts in your mouth. One of the small but thoughtful details I loved was the soy sauce presentation—it comes with a little paintbrush so you can apply just the right amount without overpowering the fish. It’s those kinds of touches that make Wabi Sabi special. Dessert was just as impressive: a seasonal Japanese strawberry that was perfectly sweet and an unforgettable ube mochi that was unlike any I’ve tried before. The decor is simple, with a refined Japanadi aesthetic that keeps the focus on the food. Service was also 10/10. Amazing all around—I’ll definitely be back
Mar 07, 2025 · Ella BrodskayaHaha wabi sabi bowl was perfect. Miso soup was covered which I liked to keep warm lol but you need two hands to uncover it hahaha
Mar 07, 2025 · PureOceanEyesThis spot may be cozy, but it packs a punch in attitude! The vibe is unique, yet inviting, and the staff are super friendly. Their sake selection may be small, but the one they picked for us was just my style—light and refreshing. And don't get me started on the food! As a huge fan of Otoro, I may have indulged a bit too much, but hey, no regrets! Totally recommending this place!
May 05, 2024 · kuenga kayOnly went for a quick to go miso soup… smallest $10 soup I’ve ever seen… disappointed. Not sure I care to entertain a second trip. Great artistic wall of origami for viewing pleasure, but not sure what’s going on in there.
