The restaurant offers a private parking lot, which is a significant convenience, especially during busy evening hours. While the exterior might blend in with other local businesses, the interior is often highlighted as a pleasant surprise, featuring a stylish and welcoming ambiance. Its easy accessibility and ample parking contribute significantly to its appeal as a go-to dining spot in the community.
Wild Ginger provides a range of services designed to offer a flexible and enjoyable dining experience for its diverse clientele.
Dine-In Experience: Enjoy the "transcendent" interior and atmosphere described by customers. The restaurant is consistently noted for being clean, cozy, and having a chic, downtown city vibe, making it perfect for a date night or a relaxed meal with friends and family.
Takeout: Wild Ginger is a popular choice for takeout, with many loyal customers willing to drive a distance to pick up their favorite dishes. They handle high volumes of takeout orders efficiently, though a slight wait for pickup is often considered "ALWAYS worth it."
BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle): A significant feature, Wild Ginger is a BYOB establishment, allowing patrons to bring their own wine or beer to complement their meal. This is a major draw, especially with a liquor store conveniently located right next door.
Extensive Asian Fusion Menu: Offering a wide array of dishes from both Japanese and Chinese cuisines, including sushi, General Tso chicken, green beans, beef and broccoli, various curries, noodles, and unique appetizers like crab & cream cheese wontons and duck sauce.

Online Ordering/Delivery: While direct delivery might vary, Wild Ginger is listed on platforms like Grubhub for online ordering and pickup/delivery, adding to customer convenience.
Wild Ginger stands out for several unique features and consistent highlights that contribute to its strong reputation in the South Jersey dining scene.
Chic and Transcendent Atmosphere: Customers consistently rave about the interior, describing it as "cute and clean," "chic downtown city restaurant," and having an "absolutely transcendent" atmosphere. This unexpected sophistication for a suburban location makes it ideal for a special date night or a relaxing meal.
Exceptional Crab & Cream Cheese Wontons and Homemade Duck Sauce: These appetizers are repeatedly singled out as "the best I've ever had," leading to friendly "fights" over them between patrons. Their non-greasy nature is also highly praised.
Fresh and Flavorful Cuisine: A consistent theme in reviews is the freshness and quality of the food. Dishes are never greasy, yet they are flavorful and satisfying, even touted by some as a "hangover cure." This applies to both their Chinese and Japanese offerings.
BYOB Policy with Convenient Liquor Store: The ability to bring your own alcoholic beverages is a huge plus for many customers, enhancing the dining experience and often making it more cost-effective. The proximity of a liquor store next door adds to the convenience.
Sushi Prepared In-View: For sushi enthusiasts, the transparency of having sushi made right in the dining room is a major highlight, assuring freshness and providing an engaging visual experience.

Long-time customers speak highly of the consistent service.
Consistently High Quality: Many customers have been loyal patrons since the restaurant opened, highlighting the consistent quality of the food and service over many years. This speaks volumes about Wild Ginger's reliability and dedication.
Best Asian Type of Restaurant in South Jersey: Multiple reviews crown Wild Ginger as the "best Asian type of restaurant in South Jersey," emphasizing its superior quality across both Chinese and Japanese dishes.
While specific, dynamically changing promotions like daily happy hour specials might not be publicly detailed, Wild Ginger does offer consistent value through its regular menu and operational structure.
Lunch Specials: Wild Ginger offers a variety of lunch specials from the wok and grill, as well as sushi bar lunch specials. These typically include options like General Tso's Chicken Lunch Special, Grilled Sesame Salmon, various stir-fried dishes, and sushi/sashimi lunch combos or roll combo specials. These are usually available during weekday lunch hours (e.g., 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM on Tuesday-Thursday, and similar hours on Saturday and Sunday).
BYOB Advantage: While not a traditional "promotion," the BYOB policy acts as a significant value-add, allowing diners to save on beverage costs, which can effectively make the overall dining experience more affordable than at restaurants with full liquor licenses.
For the most up-to-date information on any current specials or offers, it is always recommended to contact Wild Ginger directly or check their online menu, particularly on platforms like Grubhub, which often list current pricing and lunch specials.

Wild Ginger Reviews
We used to love their sushi… what happened? I’m not sure what ground up pink stuff was in or on each of our three rolls(salmon maybe) but nothing was crunchy or spicy as described. I’m sorry this was not worth the money for sure!
March 14 · Martha MingleThere is a reason this restaurant is packed every night. The crab& cream cheese wontons are the best I've ever had, best served eating in. The general tso chicken is fresh and flavorful. I am a huge fan of their green beans. Their food is never greasy, but will still take care of a hangover. I have been a customer since they opened, and I will drive to pick up no matter how far I live. The interior and atmosphere is absolutely transcendent. It felt like you were in a chic downtown city restaurant, but with reasonable prices. It's perfect for a date night. The best part? BYOB with a liquor store next door.Lately, my husband and I fight over their fried wonton things and home made duck sauce. They are the best I ever had. I love how nothing in this restaurant is greasy. My cousin says they have the best sushi, but I don't eat it. They make it in the dining room in full view of customers.Last night (Friday), I was carrying my toddler and a box of food, so a male employee came to open the doors for me. It was super nice, because they were busy. The women there aren't really nice, but I feel it's a culture thing. Americans seem overly friendly to other cultures. The food is fresh. The atmosphere is cute and clean. It's the best Asian type of restaurant in South Jersey.
March 23 · Brooke OwensThis is the best Chinese food restaurant we have found in South Jersey. We will definitely be back.
August 10 · Eva SurianiFirst issue I had seems that the waitress didn't wanna be there very rude. Ask for teriyaki chicken. Yes, that there was plenty of teriyaki sauce on the chicken to the bill for a 1/2. A cup of white rice ask for another cup of rice added another $3 to the bill. Never brought a plate to the table. For me to eat the chicken and the rice horn. Place wasn't that busy. Waiting over to half an hour for the check. Ask for a spoon so I could take the rice out of the bowl and the teriyaki sauce and she walked away and came back 10 minutes later. The only thing they did it up charge was a glass of tap water.
January 18 · Norman SpringerREAD BEFORE DINING IN!!worst experience i’ve had service wise in a restaurant. was expecting something different.another review mentioned how they feel they would rather not do brown skin dine in, which is how we felt too. lady at the counter stared down my girlfriend and wouldn’t look away, or say anything, but was paying no attention to me which was super weird. i’m white, she’s black. not sure what that was about but can only really assume one thing.first off, i’ve never not tipped a server before, let alone anything under 20-25%. ever. tonight was the first time. our server, Kerry, didn’t check on us once, just pointed to the room when we asked for a table, brought us our water, and brought over our food. that’s it. never came back to refill our glasses, never responded when we would say thank you, and even made a gesture with her hand when she saw we didn’t finish the chips they give. just a weird experience and i don’t plan on coming back hereour server was sitting at a table with all the other servers eating and counting the tip jar, while the table next to us’ server would fill our glasses. just seemed like she wanted to leave the entire timesucks because we loved the food here but the service is very underwhelming. felt like we were intruding on them the entire time.
