Woks Teriyaki Introduce
In the bustling industrial heart of Seattle, where the workday demands efficiency and a satisfying meal, Woks Teriyaki emerges as a standout establishment. Positioned within the "Doctor Near Me" platform's category of local services, Woks Teriyaki isn't a medical facility, but rather a culinary haven that offers a different kind of care: the comfort and nourishment of exceptional food. This family-owned restaurant, located at 6316 6th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108, USA, has garnered a reputation for its diverse menu, warm service, and truly homemade flavors that distinguish it from typical fast-casual eateries.
Woks Teriyaki operates with a unique schedule, opening early at 10 AM and closing by 3 PM, catering perfectly to the rhythm of the surrounding industrial businesses. This early start allows workers from nearby factories and offices to grab a hearty lunch, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a quick yet fulfilling meal during their busy day. The restaurant's phone number is (206) 762-5030, and they can also be reached at mobile phone number +1 206-762-5030 for inquiries or to place an order.
Upon entering Woks Teriyaki, customers will find an atmosphere that prioritizes functionality and comfort. The ambiance is straightforward, characteristic of a fast-food-style teriyaki spot, yet it serves its purpose exceptionally well. It's not a fancy establishment, but rather a clean and welcoming space where the focus remains squarely on the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant often sees a steady stream of patrons, even shortly after opening, a testament to its popularity and reputation among the local community. The layout is designed for quick service, with orders placed and paid for at the counter before customers take a seat, and their meals are then brought directly to their tables. This streamlined process ensures that even during peak lunch hours, customers can enjoy their meals without unnecessary delays.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Woks Teriyaki is its extensive and surprisingly diverse menu. While the name suggests a focus on teriyaki, this establishment goes far beyond, offering a delightful fusion of Japanese, Korean, and even some Chinese dishes. Customers can indulge in classic teriyaki options, alongside authentic Korean dishes like spicy pork bulgogi, seafood soft tofu stew, and stone pot bibimbap. A particularly unique offering, rarely found in such establishments, is jjajangmyeon, the popular Korean black bean noodles. This broad culinary range ensures that there's something to satisfy nearly every palate, making it a versatile choice for individuals and groups with varying preferences.
The heart and soul of Woks Teriyaki truly lie in its food. Customer reviews consistently highlight the exceptional "home-cooked quality" of the dishes. Unlike many commercialized chain restaurants that rely on artificial flavors and excessive seasonings, Woks Teriyaki prides itself on delivering clean, authentic tastes that evoke the comfort of a homemade meal. The flavors are balanced—neither too salty nor too bland—and free from artificial aftertastes. Dishes like the spicy pork bulgogi, seafood soft tofu stew, stone pot bibimbap, and Mongolian beef are frequently praised for their genuine, heartfelt preparation. For those ordering Korean dishes, a thoughtful touch is the inclusion of banchan (Korean side dishes), a pleasant surprise that elevates the dining experience. Even when the variety of banchan might be limited, the owners are noted for their generosity, often offering extra to ensure customer satisfaction.
The service at Woks Teriyaki is as commendable as its cuisine. As a family-owned and operated business, customers often interact directly with the owners, a husband and wife team who manage the front of house and the kitchen. The owner's wife, in particular, is frequently mentioned for her kind and attentive service, taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. A thoughtful touch that enhances the overall service is the complimentary bottled water provided with each meal. This level of personalized care contributes to the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and makes customers feel valued. The efficiency of the service, from order placement to meal delivery, is another key factor in its appeal, especially for the time-conscious patrons from the industrial area.
In terms of pricing, Woks Teriyaki offers exceptional value for money. Despite the generous portions and the high quality of the food, the prices are notably reasonable, making it an incredibly attractive option for a budget-friendly yet satisfying meal. While direct comparisons to every other eatery in the vicinity might not be readily available, the consensus among customers is that the value offered at Woks Teriyaki stands out significantly. This combination of affordability, generous portions, and delicious, authentic flavors makes it a highly competitive choice in the local dining scene.
Parking is rarely an issue at Woks Teriyaki, a significant advantage in any urban setting. There is ample free parking available, though spaces can fill up quickly during peak lunch hours. Despite this, customers generally report no difficulty in finding a spot, adding to the overall convenience of dining at this establishment.
In summary, Woks Teriyaki is more than just a restaurant; it's a neighborhood gem that consistently exceeds expectations. Its blend of authentic Japanese, Korean, and Chinese comfort food, prepared with a homemade touch, sets it apart. The efficient and kind service, reasonable prices, generous portions, and convenient parking make it an ideal choice for anyone in Seattle's industrial zone looking for a high-quality, satisfying meal. For those searching for a dependable and delicious lunch spot, Woks Teriyaki has firmly established itself as a "new go-to," offering a delightful culinary experience that feels like a warm meal prepared at home.

Woks Teriyaki Reviews
I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while passing by. It offers a typical teriyaki menu, along with Korean dishes, some Japanese options (like sushi and tempura), and even jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). The area is an industrial zone, so workers from nearby factories frequently drop in. Perhaps because of this, the restaurant opens early at 10 AM and closes early (3PM) as well.It seemed like the owners, a husband and wife, were the only ones working (I couldn't see the kitchen). The owner’s wife took orders and served in the dining area. I arrived around 10:40 AM, a bit early for lunch, but there were already two tables with customers, and more people started coming in shortly after.I ordered four dishes, including Korean and teriyaki options. Typically, teriyaki places don’t serve Korean side dishes (banchan), but since I ordered Korean food, they brought out banchan. The owner’s wife apologized for the limited variety of side dishes and generously brought out extra. As I tasted the side dishes, they had a comforting, homemade quality, like a warm meal prepared at home. The flavors were neither too salty nor too bland, with a clean taste that didn’t rely on artificial seasonings. The dishes—spicy pork bulgogi, seafood soft tofu stew, stone pot bibimbap, and Mongolian beef—reminded me of my mom's cooking, which I loved. While the food didn’t have the commercialized taste of popular chain restaurants, it felt like it was made with care and attention, just like a meal prepared at home. This restaurant pleasantly exceeded my expectations.- Service: Following the typical teriyaki joint setup, you place and pay for your order at the counter before taking a seat. The staff then brings your meal to your table. A nice touch is the complimentary bottled water that accompanies your meal.- Price: Considering the generous portions and delightful taste, the pricing is quite reasonable. While I haven't compared it to other eateries in the vicinity, the value for money here stands out.- Food: The dishes shine with a home-cooked quality, free from overpowering artificial flavors. Each bite feels wholesome, capturing the essence of genuine, heartfelt cooking.- Ambiance: The setting is straightforward and functional, characteristic of fast-food-style teriyaki spots. It's not fancy, but it serves its purpose well.- Parking: There's ample parking available, though spaces can fill up quickly. Nevertheless, finding a spot wasn't an issue, and it's free of charge. In summary, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of authentic flavors and efficient service, making it a noteworthy spot for anyone craving quality teriyaki and more.

Dec 24, 2024 · Aaron MitchellSo their building is a little run down, but the service was great and the staff were so friendly and sweet. I had the spicy chicken and it was good. Nice portions. They also had Strawberry Lemonade Sunkist which we've never seen before and it was awesome.

May 06, 2025 · Devane DuncanIf you're looking for good food at a great price, this place fits the bill. We ordered the Chicken Bento Box and Chicken Teriyaki/Gyoza plate. Food was fast and delish. Not many places were you can get a good hot lunch for starting under $10. Will be back again. They had many choices from Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
