Yeon Sushi is conveniently located at 3959 Wilshire Blvd A 11, Los Angeles, CA 90010, USA. This address places it squarely in the vibrant heart of Koreatown, a central and bustling district of Los Angeles. Its location on Wilshire Boulevard, a major east-west artery, ensures excellent accessibility for diners from various parts of the city and beyond.
Koreatown is known for its dynamic atmosphere and diverse culinary scene, making Yeon Sushi a fitting addition to the neighborhood. For those driving, parking in Koreatown can sometimes be challenging, though some areas offer free parking lots, and valet services are also common. It is advisable to plan your visit, especially during peak dining hours, to account for parking. However, being on Wilshire Boulevard means it's well-served by public transportation, including Metro bus lines, offering convenient options for reaching the restaurant.
The specific suite number (A 11) suggests it might be located within a complex or plaza, which can sometimes provide more structured parking options or easier access compared to standalone street-front restaurants. Its central location makes it an ideal spot for locals looking for a high-quality sushi experience without venturing too far from the heart of the city.

Yeon Sushi provides a range of services designed to offer a premium and personalized Japanese dining experience. Their focus is on delivering exceptional quality and attentive service, whether you're enjoying a full omakase or à la carte selections:
Omakase Experience: A significant highlight is their omakase (chef's choice) menu, which is described as an extensive course meal, sometimes featuring 15 or more dishes. This allows diners to fully trust the chef's expertise and enjoy a curated progression of the freshest and most exquisite ingredients available. It's an immersive culinary journey for sushi enthusiasts.
A La Carte Dining: For those who prefer to choose their own adventure, Yeon Sushi offers a comprehensive à la carte menu featuring a wide selection of nigiri, sashimi, and rolls. This flexibility allows guests to sample various items, including specific fish types like Sea Bream, Albacore, Tuna Toro, Scallop, and Unagi, as well as popular rolls like the Salmon Avocado Roll.
Private Room Dining: Yeon Sushi provides private rooms, offering an intimate and exclusive dining setting. This is ideal for special occasions, business dinners, or simply enjoying a quieter meal with friends and family, as highlighted by a customer who enjoyed omakase with friends in a private room. These rooms often feature traditional Asian-style seating on the floor, enhancing the authentic ambiance.
Attentive and Friendly Service: Customers consistently praise the "incredibly friendly" and efficient service. Even during quieter times, the staff maintains a polite distance, ensuring guests feel un-rushed but are readily available for orders, refills, and any other needs. This balance of attentiveness and discretion contributes significantly to the overall pleasant dining experience.
Freshness and Quality Focus: Every dish, from appetizers to sashimi and nigiri, is crafted with high-quality ingredients. The emphasis on "exceptional" fish quality and "care" in preparation is a cornerstone of their service, ensuring each bite is a testament to fresh, premium seafood.

Yeon Sushi's reputation for excellence is built upon several distinctive features and highlights that set it apart in Los Angeles's competitive sushi scene:
Exceptional Fish Quality: The most prominent highlight is undoubtedly the "exceptional quality of the fish." Whether it's Sea Bream, Albacore, or Tuna Toro sashimi, customers consistently note the freshness and premium nature of the seafood. This is the cornerstone of any truly great sushi restaurant.
Chef's Expertise with Garnish and Sauce: Unlike some traditionalists who prefer sashimi plain, Yeon Sushi's chef is lauded for knowing "the fish he is working with and added light sauce and garnishes that worked with each different order." This tailored approach enhances the natural flavors of the fish, showcasing a deep understanding of culinary balance.
Melt-in-Your-Mouth Nigiri: Specific nigiri preparations receive high praise, such as the "scallop nigiri that was fresh and so buttery it just melted in your mouth." The unagi nigiri is noted for being "aburi"ed properly, providing a smoky yet balanced flavor that complements the eel.
Generous Roll Portions: Even their maki rolls, like the salmon avocado rolls, are noted for being "huge," with 8 pieces compared to the usual 6 found at many other sushi establishments. This provides excellent value without compromising on quality.
Intimate and Lovely Ambiance: The restaurant provides an "intimate and lovely" setting, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for dining. The option of a private room further enhances this, allowing for a more personal experience.
Comprehensive Culinary Experience: From appetizers to dessert, the entire meal is described as "perfect," indicating a holistic approach to dining where every course is given careful consideration and quality attention.

While Yeon Sushi is positioned as a high-quality sushi and omakase destination, specific, continuously running public promotions may not be its primary marketing strategy. However, it's always worth exploring potential offers that might be available:
Omakase Pricing: The omakase experience is a curated offering, and its price, around $175 per person for an extensive 15+ course meal, already represents a specific value proposition for a high-end sushi experience in Los Angeles. This in itself can be seen as a "special offer" for those seeking a comprehensive tasting menu.
Lunch Specials: While not explicitly detailed as "promotions," many fine dining establishments often offer more accessible lunch menus or sets compared to their dinner offerings. Yeon Sushi is open for lunch Fri-Sun, 11:30 am–2:30 pm, which could potentially feature more value-oriented sets or smaller tasting menus.
Direct Inquiry: For any potential promotions or seasonal offerings, it is always best to directly contact the restaurant via phone or inquire when making a reservation. Establishments of this caliber may occasionally offer special events or holiday menus that are not widely advertised.
Online Reservation Platforms: Check platforms where you might book reservations, as they sometimes have exclusive deals or loyalty programs. However, for a restaurant focused on quality and experience, these are less common.

Yeon Sushi Reviews
During my trip to the U.S., the best food I had was sushi. The quality of the fish was exceptional, and everything from the appetizers to the dessert was perfect. You could really feel the care and high-quality ingredients in every dish. The service was also incredibly friendly. I enjoyed a delicious omakase with friends in a private room. If I ever travel to the U.S. again, I’ll definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended!
Aug 31, 2024 · 박주희Just had the most intimate and lovely Sunday lunch here. We went when they opened (11:30 AM) so we were only ones there. First time here so wanted to get various sashimi and nigiri before coming back for the omakase. We got the Sea Bream, Albacore, and Tuna Toro sashimi and it was an absolute delight. Normally, I do like my sashimi unaccompanied with any garnish or sauce but I did not mind it here. The chef knows the fish he is working with and added light sauce and garnishes that worked with each different order. Then, we got the scallop nigiri that was fresh and so buttery it just melted in your mouth. The unagi nigiri was "aburi"ed properly, so it was a bit smokey but did not take away from the taste of the eel. We also enjoyed the salmon avocado rolls, which were huge; usually, sushi places give you 6 pieces of regular maki rolls, but they gave us 8 pieces. The service was great. Granted we were the only one but liked that the server was efficient and polite and not too in your face. She kept her distance to not rush us but was available when we needed to order, refill our water glasses and get the check.
Jul 21, 2024 · Hells BellsI am almost passed up this lil hidden gem. Decided to turn in and give it a try. The sushi was the best sushi I have had in years. The service was even better! Free parking and not crowded! I could not ask for more.
Jul 21, 2024 · Laura LeeDecided to stop by and try this new sushi place after grabbing a coffee upstairs. The fish was some of the freshest I have had in a really long time. I grabbed a seat at the bar and the sushi chef Peter was really funny and nice. Will stop by again. Parking can be hard to find but thankfully there was valet.
Apr 06, 2023 · KellyThere were so many people lined up outside that it took a while to receive our food. The servers were busy but they seemed to be doing their best. The food was delicious so all was forgiven. I have to come again on a weekday. Overall a successful Valentine's date.
