Yoshi Sushi Introduce
For those seeking Japanese cuisine in Los Altos, California, **Yoshi Sushi** is a restaurant located at 250 3rd St, Los Altos, CA 94022. Operating within the broader context of a "Doctor Near Me" platform, Yoshi Sushi provides a local service by offering Japanese dining options. The restaurant can be contacted at (650) 941-8150 or via mobile at +1 650-941-8150.
Yoshi Sushi has received a range of feedback regarding its **features** and culinary offerings. One customer reported a highly positive experience, praising the "super fresh and sweet sashimi" as "to die for," and the "steam eggs" as "warm and soothing to taste." This individual highlighted that the food was "prepared with attention," indicating a focus on presentation and taste. A particularly recommended item was the "dream box," described as the "biggest bang on our bucks" and offering "super fair" pricing overall. This suggests that the Dream Box is perceived by some as a good value option that provides a substantial and satisfying meal.
However, another customer provided a contrasting and significantly negative experience, specifically concerning the quality of the sashimi. This reviewer described their visit as their "worst sashimi experience," leading to "diarrhea" and an "upset stomach for 5 hours." They stated that "almost all the fish were too fatty, clearly not good quality sashimi," and felt that the restaurant "sourced the cheapest cuts and served them." The roll was also criticized for not tasting fresh, and the Chawanmushi was deemed unsatisfactory. This customer concluded that the "Price was ridiculous for the quality of fish" in their $75 box and provided "genuine feedback" to "please source better quality cuts, current quality is not acceptable." This contrasting feedback regarding food quality, particularly sashimi, suggests a potential inconsistency or a significant difference in experience among diners.
Regarding the **environment**, one positive review highlighted that the atmosphere is "suitable for a wide range of situations." This versatility means that patrons "can see myself returning with friends, families, or colleagues alike," suggesting that the setting is comfortable and adaptable for various social or professional gatherings. The personal touch from the owner, Jenny, also contributes significantly to the restaurant's ambiance. She is described as "the most hardworking and caring boss," who "chatted with us" and even takes care of "all the roses outside the restaurant herself." Her sentiment that "the restaurant is her second home and many frequenters have become her homies too" fosters a "personable atmosphere" that makes customers feel welcomed and valued, potentially building a loyal local following.
In terms of **services**, the positive review emphasized that service was "very attentive and friendly." This suggests a staff that is responsive to customer needs and contributes to a pleasant dining experience. The owner's direct engagement with customers, as mentioned in the review, further underscores a commitment to personalized service and building rapport with the clientele. Such attentive and friendly service can significantly enhance the overall dining experience, making customers feel cared for and appreciated. However, the negative review's focus on food quality rather than service suggests that while the service itself may be good, it cannot always compensate for perceived shortcomings in the food's freshness or quality.
As for **promotional information**, the most prominent mention is the "dream box," which was highly recommended as offering the "biggest bang on our bucks" and "super fair" pricing. This implies that the Dream Box serves as a key value proposition for Yoshi Sushi, encouraging customers to try a selection of items at what is perceived to be an affordable price point. While specific promotional offers beyond this are not detailed, the positive narrative surrounding the Dream Box suggests it acts as a consistent draw for new and returning customers looking for a comprehensive and economical meal. The positive personal interaction with the owner, Jenny, and her dedication to fostering a "homie" relationship with frequenters, could also be considered a form of organic promotion, encouraging repeat business through a strong sense of community and care.
In summary, Yoshi Sushi in Los Altos offers a Japanese dining experience with notable strengths in its attentive and friendly service, a versatile and personable environment fostered by the owner, and a value-oriented "dream box." However, the restaurant faces conflicting feedback regarding the quality and freshness of its sashimi, which has led to highly divergent customer experiences. For local users accessing services via a "Doctor Near Me" platform, Yoshi Sushi represents a local dining option that can provide a pleasant and well-serviced meal, but potential diners should be aware of the varied opinions on food quality when making their choice.

Yoshi Sushi Reviews
I was at Yoshi Sushi with my husband this past weekend for dinner. We were very pleased with the experience. So much so that we returned the next day! We can tell the food was prepared with attention, the super fresh and sweet sashimi is to die for, steam eggs was warm and soothing to taste just to mention a few. Highly recommend is the dream box, it was the biggest bang on our bucks. Overall the price is super fair. Service was very attentive and friendly, gives off a personable atmosphere. The environment is suitable for a wide range of situations. I can see myself returning with friends, families, or colleagues alike. The owner Jenny is the most hardworking and caring boss. She chatted with us, and we found out she enjoys taking care of all the roses outside the restaurant herself. She said the restaurant is her second home and many frequenters have become her homies too. Cheers!
Jan 21, 2025 路 AriesMy worst sashimi experience. Got diarrhea (I don't get it often) and upset stomach for 5 hours. We got the dream box and almost all the fish were too fatty, clearly not good quality sashimi. Feels like they sourced the cheapest cuts and served them. It was difficult to eat them because they were too fatty and I had an upset stomach for 5 hours after finished dinner. The roll did not taste good either, the fish didn't taste very fresh.Chawamushi didn't taste goodMy genuine feedback to the restaurant is: please source better quality cuts, current quality is not acceptable for a 75 dollar box.Price was ridiculous for the quality of fish.

May 27, 2025 路 jno1111@yoshisushi.sanjose use the freshest fish! 馃悷Quality you can taste and see, and they have the prettiest presentation. If you have a hard time deciding, they also have omakase and box sets! They have multiple locations in the Bay Area and the service and interior are so nice.
Dec 17, 2024 路 Monica HoangOrder Omakase hoping to get the freshest fish. Instead I got food poisoning. Service was charming but destroying my gut is not cool. Within an hour I am on the toilet with diarrhoea.
