Yoshiharu Ramen in Buena Park boasts several key features that contribute to its appeal, though some aspects, particularly regarding online ordering, require attention:
- Rich, Flavorful Broth: A consistent highlight is the "lovely pork broth, enhanced with black garlic oil" in their Tonkotsu Black Ramen, demonstrating a commitment to deep, satisfying flavors that are central to good ramen.
- Quality Noodles and Toppings: Customers praise the "thin, curly noodles done just so" and the freshness of toppings like bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and green onions. The pork chashu is noted as "flavorful and tender."
- Authentic Hokkaido-Style Ramen: Yoshiharu Ramen prides itself on serving authentic Hokkaido-style ramen, a specific and well-regarded regional style from Japan, which adds to its credibility for ramen connoisseurs.
- Diverse Menu: Beyond ramen, the availability of a variety of rice bowls (including the "Ribeye Rice Bowl"), bento boxes, and appetizers (like "potato kuroke") ensures there are options for different cravings and group preferences.
- Located in The Source OC: Being part of a major entertainment and dining complex offers convenience, accessibility, and a lively atmosphere for diners.
- Customization Options: The ability to add an extra egg (often a popular choice) and other toppings allows customers to tailor their ramen to their exact liking.
However, it is crucial to address the significant concerns raised by a customer regarding online ordering and representation:
- Misleading Online Listings/Images: A major point of criticism is that the online descriptions and pictures on platforms like Uber Eats did not accurately reflect the received order. For example, a Rib Eye Bowl with "almost no ribeye and rice, but a ton of carrots" despite the picture showing "0 carrots," and "veggie ramen picture shows green noodles. Ours had regular noodles," implying an unadvertised "upgrade" for the green noodles. This can lead to significant customer dissatisfaction and a feeling of being misled.
- Inconsistent Order Fulfillment: The discrepancy between the advertised item and the actual product received points to potential issues in order fulfillment or clarity in online menu descriptions.
While the in-house dining experience for ramen is often positive, these inconsistencies in online presentation and fulfillment are critical areas for improvement to maintain customer trust and satisfaction, especially for the growing segment of takeout and delivery diners.

Yoshiharu Ramen Reviews
Ordered from this place through Uber eats. We ordered the veggie ramen and a ribeye rice bowl. On Uber thr rib eye bowl was listed as white rice, ribeye, onions and green oonions.i got almost no ribeye and rice, but a ton of carrots. The picture they have for their own item shows 0 carrots. The veggie ramen picture shows green noodles. Ours had regular noodles, looks like the green noodles are a upgrade to the item. But then why have that be the main picture? This places listing are very misleading. I would avoid this place. Images of the Uber description belowYou can see the image matches their own website.
May 25, 2025 · Marcus fowlerRamen's the thing on a cool Southern California winter night, isn't it? It's hard to go wrong with the Black Tonkotsu Ramen, should you feel the need.Lovely pork broth, enhanced with black garlic oil. Thin, curly noodles done just so. Bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and a sprinkle of green onions. Interestingly enough, I don't typically eat green onions unless they're in ramen. The pork is flavorful and tender, though not melt in your mouth (although I have found that to be exceedingly rare). The egg is extra, but really... Who wants ramen without an egg.As you can see, I ate more than I should have. And I will return, perhaps to try a non-raman dish. Enjoy!
Dec 04, 2024 · Ernie HernandezThis place basically closes an hour before it is suppose to. They switch to take out(which is totally fine.) A part of my order for deep fried tofu was confirmed twice. When I got my take out and looked at it in the car I received fried dumplings instead. There were not other guests getting their orders in so this was irking that one thing I was excited for didn’t make it home with me. I didn’t go back bc the walk was pretty far from the car as well. When I got home to eat my katsu plate the katsu was burnt and definitely not how the garden grove location makes it. Definitely do not come here if you want good quality food. This location is pretty terrible.
Nov 12, 2024 · JasmineOverall good experience here! The food was delicious & prices were reasonable, especially compared to other establishments within this mall. My only complaint about the food is that the edamame came drenched in salt—lightly salted is one thing, but bathed in salt is another 😣 I would definitely tell them to skip the salt next time since I like eating edamame to add a healthy touch to my meal, but all that salt basically defeats the point. I would also say to be aware that the appetizers and main dishes come out at the same time, at least in my experience. I was taken aback when we didn't even begin munching on our appetizers yet when they brought out our main dishes already. The portion sizes are pretty good and plates are shareable, though! The only other downside was that my friend and I wanted to eat outside and even though they had an outdoor dining area set up, they told us we couldn't for some reason :(
Apr 15, 2024 · CatRamen restaurant. Noodles were good, everything was copacetic.I was warned there was no sushi available on the night I went - to me this was a non-issue.
