YU-OR-MI Sushi and Ramen Bar - Arts District Reviews
Stopped in here in April 2025. Great hidden sushi and ramen restaurant. I suppose for locals it isn't all that hidden, but for outsiders who venture off the strip, this place can be a good find. The taxi ride from Mandalay runs about 30 bucks or so but worth it. Reservations are good to do, but you can also walk in depending on the day and time. We had a large group and essentially did a version of chef's choice for the dishes. It was great selections and nothing which wasn't perfect. Definitely recommend this place for an unique experience for dining while in Vegas.
Apr 15, 2025 · Ayman HusainSurprised at the sashimi quality here. Thought it was going to be a place for tourists but it's actually pretty decent here. We visited because they had both vegan and meat eater options. Our server was a hoot!! Comedian on the side so he was an amazing host and server. Ask for aka "Jeffrey Dahmer"? (I forgot his name, but the SO remembered his character name for the night.) He really made our dining experience.Vegan Inari Roll $18ish (Vegan)Avocado Roll $8ish (Vegan)A shrimp roll with coconut shavings on top.So for a mixed party of vegan and meat eaters, this wouldn't be a bad choice. Its in the arts district so theres plenty of stroking or things to do. We ordered mixed amount of food. They close at 10pm (Friday night). I called ahead to make sure if we'll make it before their kitchen closing. Many places close their kitchen at 930pm but this place was willing to keep the kitchen open until 10pm. And willing to take us walk-in at 950pm!!
Apr 26, 2025 · Diana WeiThis place was awesome. All of the food was outstanding.I think the dish that best exemplified it was the Ikura Nigiri. Having spent 3 years in japan, I was still blown away. It included an Oba leaf and “Arare” which are kind of a puffed rice pearl. And the salmon roe was perfectly marinated. They also had chu-hai!Another great find in the arts district
May 26, 2025 · Nate MelinThis is one my favorite foodie spots in the Arts District downtown: Yu-or-Mi! This place definitely does not disappoint! While there’s another location in the Durango Casino on the southwest side of town, this downtown spot holds a special place in my heart! ❤️We kicked things off with some delicious rock shrimp, hamachi, spicy tuna, crispy rice, miso butter oysters, and poke nachos! 🤤 We also requested some freshly grated wasabi, which was incredible! To top it all off, the chef surprised us with a special Hamachi sashimi! 🍣I love visiting this place because everyone remembers you when you come often, and they always have amazing seasonal specials. It’s truly one of my go-to spots! They’re open Monday-Thursday from 3 PM to 8 PM and Friday from 3 PM to 9:30 PM.
Feb 08, 2025 · Marianne YoffeeHigh quality food. Everything I ordered was top notch. However, the kitchen is too slow... I had to wait a long time for every single thing I ordered. It was not packed; there was not a long line or anything..
