Ah-So Sushi & Steak Reviews
The reservation we had was for 5:45 and with multiple children, making us wait 20 min to sit was the opposite of what we hoped when making the reservation. The food overall was over cooked. The chicken, steak, lobster and shrimp, were tough and chewy. The scallops were the only thing we ordered that was properly cooked. It was my Birthday and didn't want to complain, but a $300+ meal that tastes like a $50 meal makes me feel like we did not get value for our $.
April 27 · Steve ScottUpdated 2025... We were able to get Teppanyaki this time. It's a fun and interactive experience for the young, and for the wise ;). I love their soup and salad. The chicken fried rice, vegetables, and mongolian beef are my favorite. I appreciate that we had a positive experience this time, and I can give them more stars :) ⭐️ On a side note, they don't have outdoor seating.Original Review... We called ahead on a weekday evening to see if their Teppanyaki grill was, and would still be, open upon our arrival. We were told, yes. However, when we arrived, we were told that only regular seating was available. Our server appeared unhappy with our presence. He basically "dropped" our dinner plates on our table. He disappeared, only to reappear to give us our bill. Didn't offer us a box for our food, didn't ask us if we'd like dessert, etc. I love to give great reviews, but, unfortunately, I simply can't with this experience at this location. Our bill nearly totaled $200 before tip. If anyone is paying (honestly, any dollar amount), I should hope the service equates to the quality of the restaurant and food 🤷
March 03 · Robyn MendelI hate to even have to post this cause the owner, Mr. Lee and I go way back. I got seated with my family at the teppanyaki table. We had 9 family members, including myself. They sat 2 other randoms which normally isn't a big deal but when the table holds 10 people not 11 we sat shoulder to shoulder. Unbelievable they would even do this. I would have waited if they had the decency. Rude hostess to top it all. I come in here almost 3 -4 times a month. Before anyone says, "Did you ask if we can we move your whole family?"" I should have to be in that position."
May 24 · John RyanHad teppanyaki in the dinning room. Not at the grill side table. Food was good except for the soup they used to serve delicious mushroom soup with onion, now it was a seaweed soup that was very fishy. It was very dark inside made it difficult to read the menu and see what you were eating.
May 16 · Chris “Casey” CaseyThis restaurant on a Tuesday evening was still quite busy. The hibachi table took the majority of the staff's focus and we only saw maybe 3 waitress in the whole restaurant. We received our drink order quickly but took about 20 minutes to even place a appetizer order which we had to insist we wanted before we ordered main meal. Our server brought us the correct food and drink and checked on us a couple times. She was not warm and friendly at all. She almost kept walking each time she came by to see if we were ok. Never offering anything above what we physically requested. The food was good. Cold food was cold and hot food was hot. We dint enjoy their signature Ah-So roll as we felt it was very spicy and the slices were just too large. So overall a decent experience just expect to wait and be ready for a large bill. Thank you.
