Feb 26, 2020 · liam pramonoAlley Kitchens is a really great place to go for a quick bite! I would recommend ordering ahead using the snackpass app. My favorite meal from here is the beef bowl, it tastes like really authentic Japanese beef and is served with just the right amount of food! As for atmosphere, all seating space is on two counters so it's a little more of a tight space but is great for if u just want a sit down meal for yourself of 1-2 friends. Honestly the whole set up makes you feel like you're in a quiet hole in the wall, in the midst of busy Berkeley.
Feb 28, 2023 · Petunia PomegranatePretty solid. Only got the basic tonkatsu and jasmine drink. Thought it’d be expensive due to being so close to campus, but the portion was large enough to fill me up. Prices are slightly cheaper than if I got it in SF for the same food. Service was quick. Nice staff.
Dec 31, 2024 · Cory Asato*rating only based on Chicken Curry Bowl - IF YOU GO TRY THE OTHER STUFF, might be good.didn’t try the ramen, matcha, chirashi, etc.S02 - Chicken Curry Bowl - ~$13 after tax.Place opened around January 2020 VERY cool aesthetics, very new. They have Great polite staff, and the S02 is alright, but I would say the high prices not worth it. It’s very run of the mill but higher than average cost.Would come back if there was ever offerings for like “mini” size for half price or daily deals for different menu items like seasons of Japan does.
