Aqua New York Reviews
My colleague and I, we met at Aqua for a nice after work cocktail and dinner. We both really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was nice and particularly our server. The drinks and food were excellent. We had the rice dish and the sashimi platter. Big plus: the ambiance was super!
May 28, 2025 · christina pAbsolutely wonderful place! The food was truly amazing — every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care.Special thanks to the staff — the service was outstanding: very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made our evening even more enjoyable. The only small downside was that the food took a bit longer to arrive than expected because the kitchen was busy with a banquet. But honestly, it was well worth the wait — everything tasted fantastic. We will definitely be coming back to try something new!
Apr 28, 2025 · Alexandra NRecently went to Aqua’s new location and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambiance was amazing as it was dimly lit for dinner and I made sure to have early reservations to ensure that we’d have our seats secured- (party of 2). We were greeted at the door, waited a few minutes for the hostess to have someone available to seat us. The nets surrounding the bar were definitely a sight to see, it made the space more exciting.Once at the table, we were able to peruse the menu and pleased at the options available- especially for me as I’m mostly vegetarian. All of the food was delicious and wonderfully presented- not to mention how quick the service was. It was also great incentive to have mixed menus to choose from & we surely did order from both Roma & Kyoto menus. We opted to have our food brought out as each dish was ready, though we probably could’ve had everything brought at once. It was a great experience and we’re already looking forward to returning another time to return for brunch/ lunch.Last but not least, the staff were great - as expected, extremely attentive yet not overbearing by any means. The food also came much quicker than we anticipated! All in all it was a great experience and we will absolutely be recommending Aqua to our close friends.
Jan 11, 2025 · Carol OrdonezThis London-based group has incredible design and overall concept. The drinks were curated and perfectly crafted. I loved the Kyoto martini, then switched to the Raichi martini. Large menu between Italian and Japanese. On the Italian menu, the mafelde with slow-cooked oxtail. Was delicious! On the Japanese menu, we had a large selection of items; the pork gyoza was great. For the maki, spicy tuna was my favorite, but the salmon was my husband’s favorite. I also enjoyed the snow crab. The A5 wagyu I could have 5! Now, the crystal sushi was cool and beautiful, crafted concept, but was a miss in my opinion, and the 4 of us were not a fan. Yuzu-marinated lamb was very good.
Apr 21, 2025 · Cody RobertsVisually, Aqua has a stunning dining concept with a gorgeous bar centering the restaurant. The unique contemporary Japanese and Italian restaurant is truly an experience in and of itself. We sat down at the bar (because how could you not) to participate in the happy hour. We ordered discounted cocktails (aperol spritz’s) and the sushi platter, which was very generous in size and served fresh sushi with delicious flavors. The bartender was extremely kind, and I would absolutely come back for a sit down reservation.
