Bamboo Sushi Reviews
A first timer at Bamboo, but definitely not a last timer.I totally enjoyed dining at Bamboo yesterday late afternoon. While seating felt just a wee bit crowded, everything else about Bamboo was superb. Ian, our server was well informed , pleasant, and attentive without hovering....perfect.We ordered a variety of offerings, including tempura ๐ค shrimp, the black cod, garlic fried rice , the garden of eden sushi roll , agedashi tofu, and the wonderful, off the charts king salmon kama collar. All foods came out family style and ready to share.Prices were a bit steeper than usual, but considering the expert preparation , tastes, and service , I felt I received value for money spent.Final take....recommended. I'm looking forward to my return visit already.
Aug 13, 2024 ยท Markus โmarkobear1โFunnily enough, I was recommended to go to Bamboo Sushi for it's burger. The burger, in fact, was one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had. It was very juicy and had great quality cheese. The taro chips were amazing. The tuna nigiri was delicious. I really loved the agedashi tofu. The tofu quality was incredible and the dashi broth was so flavorful. The miso Black Cod was fruity and delicious, but the portion was small. Even the California roll was great quality - texturally very soft and the crab flavor is mellow but delicious. The mackerel was a little too salty for me.

Aug 25, 2024 ยท ShelzBamboo sushi is my go to spot when I want sushi in Portland. Their sushi is super fresh, they have great non sushi options, and their crispy rice is to die for!
Feb 22, 2025 ยท Jen RountreeI was spoiled by living in Seattle and enjoying sushi there (much fresher, generally.) Bamboo sushi is fine: reasonably priced but not very flavorful. Service can be mixed, but is not bad.
