- Specific Dish Offerings: The menu's focus on classic curry combinations like Chicken Katsu Curry, Pork Katsu Curry, Shrimp Katsu Curry, and the traditional Omu Curry (omelet over rice with curry) offers familiar favorites prepared with their unique black curry twist. The Veggie Curry provides a solid option for non-meat eaters.

Dela Curo Curry Reviews
Missing a kick. Wasn’t very flavorful - I think they forgot to add a bit of salt to the katsu and curry - the curry could use more curry powder as well. Without the salt, the umami flavor in both the pork and curry doesn’t come out. Maybe my taste buds aren’t working today, will give it another try next time.
Dec 02, 2024 · Yumi KobaGood service and the Swan's Market is a nice place but the katsu curry wasn't amazing. As other reviewers noted, the katsu was crispy on the outside but unseasoned and tough on the inside. They should use the double fry method for a more juicy cutlet. Also, flavor wise, the sauce was more like a brown gravy than a (Japanese) curry.Minor nit: The tiny bit of shredded cabbage on the side was just raw without dressing. Would be nice if it were pickled to balance the heavy flavor of the curry.
Apr 16, 2023 · k kThe curry has some rich flavor, the price is relatively reasonable as well. However some of the smaller details were missing. The pork katsu is fried nicely but there is no seasoning on it so if you do t have it with the curry for a bite, it’s just a dry flavorless piece of pork. Also the dish actually needs a little more cabbage to have as a palate cleanser in between the bites of curry. As for the fruit sando, it was pretty tasty but I couldn’t eat the crusts because they were pretty hard to chew through.
Apr 02, 2023 · Wilson TsangFood was very good. The photo of the pork katsu curry that I posted is almost an exact map of the photo in their menu, so bonus points for consistency!Whoever took my order was very nice. Whoever delivered my food was not. Pro tip: If you're having a bad day, don't let it impact how you treat your customer.Atmosphere isn't bad, but I'm generally not a fan of food halls. I would go back for the food again and hopefully have a better experience with the service.
Mar 05, 2023 · Joel RemigioI've never heard of black curry before this, and not going to lie, was a bit scared of trying this. But oh boy did this blow my mind! I think this place is a secret gem, it's simply wonderful and maybe even unique! I'm a big fan of curry and katsu as a whole! The black curry was strong, but not too strong. The staff that helped us was extremely nice. It had a very nice calm and quiet atmosphere but I don't know, I went on a weekday so maybe that's why it was quiet but I enjoyed my time there with outside sitting.
