Douska Reviews
The omakase was INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend sitting at the bar so you can get a view of the sushi making!! Amazing chefs, amazing service. Great quality for a good price. Don’t skip out on dessert- get the salted caramel mochi 😍 will definitely be coming back!!
January 27 · MollyIt was my first time having an omakase and I’m happy I had it at Douska. Even though it’s a cheap omakase the service is at another level. If it’s crowded it may take a while for your order to be delivered but it’s quite efficient. The food is amazing, tastes really good and it’s quite fresh.
November 19 · Federico GonzalezI have been coming here for years now. I make a point to eat here anytime I’m in NYC. The quality has never declined. It’s just great quality sushi served in an unpretentious environment. I never have trouble getting a reservation. The toro is my absolute favorite. I did the omakase this time and it was wonderful and a great price ($75). I wanted a little bit more food so ordered one roll to share and a piece of toro each with my husband and we were perfectly full.
March 21 · Sarah HOne of my to go, easy going place for delicious hand-roll. This place is no fuss but make great sushis. It’s not an upscale experience as far as decor but it’s an easy going place that will serve you great food.
May 20 · Arnaud MullerFood was solid, definitely above average. Service was horrendous. So bad It felt wrong to leave a tip. It took over 35 minutes from ordering to receive our appetizer. We spent an hour and 15 minutes there and only had food in front of us for about 15 of those minutes. It was extremely difficult to get the waitresses attention. Ended up eating half my sushi without soy sauce or wasabi because it would take them 10 minutes to refill and bring it over. Will not be back.
