My go-to place for fresh sushi. I can never complain about this place. All staff are very attentive and friendly. The rolls are great and very inexpensive. Since I have tried it I been going at least once a week although I always order over the phone for take out.

Stop reading and just go here. Seriously this is the best sushi spot within 20 miles and it's not close. I've tried them all. Around $15 for the lunch special and you will get more than enough for one person.Fresh ingredients, excellent presentation, made exactly like the pictures. The clear soup was perfectly balanced and full of flavor, fresh salads, and so many cool creations.They have a full japanese menu, however I've only had sushi and some apps. Second visit this week, it's that good.The decor is higher end and very relaxing, but this place also had a chill vibe.Can't wait to come back.

I waited for a take out order on Valentine’s Day. It was very underwhelming. The combo hibachi barely had any proteins. I ordered the steak to be cooked medium and it was fully cooked and dry. The noodles were overcooked and mushy.The rolls were just meh. They didn’t taste good. Hopefully our cat enjoys them. The chicken katsu was chewy. Overall we’ll likely toss out a good portion of the food. 😢

Best sushi in CT hands down. No exaggeration. My sister and I are regulars and we have loved it since day one, which is why we kept coming back for more. The prices are also reasonable and they have lunch special deals. Try the shrimp tempura and chicken tempura with yum yum sauce with a side of fried rice! My sister always gets gluten-free soy sauce and they always have it ready for her since they know us so well now :) Thank you Fancy Sushi!! (Updated with a pic of their Toro, so so good!)

This was our first time at this restaurant. We did not realize they are newly opened. Well let’s just say we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The food is excellent, light well balanced sauces. The crisp on the tempura was perfect. They serve you a yummy soup and little imitation crab roll BEFORE you order. We did not order sushi but absolutely will on the next visit. Pricing is right on for the quality of the food and service. Highly recommend! As a small business owner myself I have high standards so I don’t leave a 5 star review lightly. Best of luck with your new business, we will be back for sure.
