It was pretty worth it.The food was really good, it included a lot of appetizers as well as 3 meat dishes. There is a buffet but on Fridays and weekends they don't do it after 3pm.Definitely a good restaurant.

Apr 18, 2025 · Stuti SangarWe came to Gyu-Kaku to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it was perfect from start to finish! The service was excellent—our servers were friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving at a great pace. Even with the 1 hour and 45 minute dining time limit, we never felt rushed. We had more than enough time to enjoy each course and even wrap up with dessert. We ordered the Gyu-Kaku Feast, and the food was incredible. My personal favorites were the Yaki Shabu and the Harami Skirt Steak! Every item was fresh, well-seasoned, and arrived in a timely manner. This was such a fun and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion. Gyu-Kaku absolutely delivered with delicious food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
May 27, 2025 · Fátima JiménezIf you're looking for a fun and tasty BBQ experience in Flushing, Gyu-Kaku is a solid choice. We grilled up a nice mix of shrimp, squid, and shishito peppers — super fresh and cooked perfectly on the grill. The marinated meats were flavorful and tender, especially the beef cuts — juicy, rich, and went great with their dipping sauces. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, perfect for hanging out while cooking your own food. Service was friendly and fast, and everything came out in good time. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a chill meal with friends!
Apr 09, 2025 · 13A13Y .JWe went for the weekday lunch special and it was really busy for a weekday but then we found out that they only had two servers on duty and that’s probably why the tables weren’t turned fast enough. Good thing we had a reservation. With that said, the servers did really well, not as attentive as they normally are but not bad considering the circumstances. The food was still really good, they rearranged their menu a bit which made it much easier to understand, showing the upcharges better. Now we can see how four people ordering $20 lunch specials can walk out spending $170 not including tip LOL.I still say the bistro hanger steak is my favorite and I really enjoy their salad because the salad dressing is so good.Overall, a really enjoyable meal.
