Hachioji Craft & Vegan Ramen Reviews
This place is a solid eatery. I really enjoyed the menu options that were offered and while primarily serving ramen, I opted for some sushi and a Karaage bowl, which were both very satiating! Both were flavorful but did not distinguish themselves from being stellar. The bowl was served very hot, meaning it was prepared in the moment and delivered table side quickly which is very promising and convincing of good and expedited service. While the service was not the perfect, I was not expecting that from a more local/ high throughput restaurant. The interior was retro and dope to 20the century Japanese art/posters and felt very comforting to sit and enjoy the ambience. I would recommend eating here if you def need a quick bite after a long day in Little Tokyo!
Apr 25, 2025 · Juan AlvaradoFor a ramen lover who has had ramen probably everywhere possible, this was a big disappointment. The only thing good about this place was their service. With so many competitions in the same area, one would think they would try to do their best but was the opposite.Tonkotsu black garlic ramen I had was possibly one of the worst. Broth was flavorless with excessive sodium, it tasted like a slaty favored water. Pork was the thinnest and driest ever. I couldn't taste any hint of black garlic either. We asked for garlic on side, they gave us stale smelly garlic. My husband had creamy white vegan ramen which was also pretty bland. He added some hot sauce and miso bomb and finally tasted little better. We also got spicy tofu appetizer, it was a piece of raw silken tofu topped with chilli oil, some aromatics and chilli flakes, which was also with no surprise tasteless. I usually finish the broth over noodles because they are so flavorful. For the first time, I didn't touch the broth after finishing noodles. We will definitely not be going back.
Apr 28, 2025 · Century SI was nervous that because it was duck ramen it would be too oily. It WAS NOT! It was PERFECT! The yuzu was refreshing and helped to balance oit the flavors and kept it light. I also tried the shoyu duck ramen and was impressed with the flavor of the broth. Both are amazing. Can't go wrong with either. Just depends on your mood for the day. I already want to go back.
May 27, 2025 · Jaime BuenoVegan perspective: Literally my new favorite place in Little Tokyo. Ever since my favorite place closed down during pandemic, I've been looking for a good Keema Curry (hint: they have top tier vegan keema curry!!) also their tofu hachioji sandwich was amazing!!My partner (not vegan) got tonkotsu seafood ramen and that looked amazing, as well as the takoyaki.Definitely coming back every time I'm in the area.
Mar 18, 2025 · Yutaka Toguchi (Kindcoffee)Food: If you are looking for a clear (clean-ish) flavor, I highly recommend the shio ramen with duck. Keema curry also solid, taste like homemade japanese curry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Edit: The keema curry is definitely a must get. Every bite get better and better 👏카레 맛집Service: No complaints!Atmosphere: clean and nice. No complaintsWould I come back: YES!
