Hana Sushi and Izakaya Bridgeport Reviews
I decided to try this place with my son. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the sushi that was on the moving belt. It didn't taste fresh, and seemed like it had been going around the belt for way too long. The salmon lover roll that we ordered and which was made while we waited was much better. The service was fine, and the atmosphere is cute. But I probably won't be back. The very rubbery baby octopus is pictured.
Apr 10, 2025 路 Kirk DavisFood was just ok, the rice was a bit moist and, I tried the salmon 馃崳 and it felt like it came from a frozen state. Felt for the service person as they were a one person crew with taking orders and serving them. Was my first time trying so perhaps it was just wrong timing. I still encourage people to try at least once to see for yourself, and hope you have a better experience than mine.
Feb 03, 2025 路 Nes BorneI was looking forward to trying a new sushi place in Bridgeport after the previous one that was here in the same location closed. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed in both service and food. We walked in and the person up front said we could seat ourselves. Every single table was dirty so we had to wait for someone to clean a table off. They definitely need more staff. The food itself was overpriced for severely average or just plain bad sushi. The California rolls were not good. The chicken katsu was rubbery and soggy. The ebi was average. Spring rolls were cold and soggy. Out of everything we tried I actually enjoyed the seared salmon, but sadly that was it.I will not be returning and do not recommend dining here.
Jan 06, 2025 路 Stefani LouiseGot a lot of sushi for a good deal, sushi was okay, the atmosphere is very modern and authentic. I really like all the decorations and art. The track style is very big, plenty of seating. People were very friendly.
Apr 19, 2025 路 Vanesse CThey have steak rolls here! Stephanie cannot eat fish and is quite sad at sushi restaurants some times but on this blessed day she is happy because there are options for her.My favorite roll was the Volcano roll (normally I don鈥檛 like volcanoes because lava is dangerous) but I make exception because I understand climate change plays an important role in volcanic activity (because the earth is hotter???)My second favorite is the Seared Salmon with Sauce. Led Zeppelin was played on the speakers twice when I was last here (so the food tasted even better as a result???)
