HinoMaru Ramen Introduce
For New Yorkers who consider themselves ramen connoisseurs, or even those just beginning their journey into the world of Japanese noodle soups, HinoMaru Ramen in Astoria, Queens, is a name that consistently comes up as a must-visit. Often hailed as one of the best ramen joints in New York, HinoMaru Ramen offers an experience that goes beyond just a meal; it's a deep dive into rich, complex flavors and perfectly crafted textures that satisfy both body and soul.
What truly sets HinoMaru Ramen apart is its dedication to authentic, deeply flavorful broths. Their signature Hakata-style pork bone broth, for instance, is slow-simmered for an impressive 17 hours, resulting in a creamy, rich, and incredibly profound base for their ramen. This meticulous process ensures that every spoonful is packed with umami and warmth. Beyond the classic Tonkotsu, they offer a diverse range of broths, including chicken and vegetable bases, catering to a wide array of preferences and dietary needs.
But it's not just the broth that garners praise. Customers consistently rave about the noodles, describing them as having the "perfect firmness," and the generous portions that leave you feeling genuinely satisfied. The attention to detail extends to their toppings, from the tender chashu pork to the unique "fire ball" (a spicy ground pork paste) that can be added to kick up the heat. With a cozy and intimate atmosphere, friendly service, and a reputation for being reasonably priced for the quality offered, HinoMaru Ramen is more than just a restaurant; it's an essential stop on any New Yorker's ramen bucket list.

HinoMaru Ramen Reviews
OMG so happy to have stopped by and shame on me for waiting so damn long. This is definitely one of the best Ramen joint in NY and very reasonably priced. Broth is super flavorful and noodle is perfect firmness.A must on your Ramen bucket list
April 13 · Jesse YuanThe food is really good, the service is great. I liked everything I tried. The only thing I would improve would be the space in the back, where large groups can fit. It’s in front of the bar, but there are also some things of storage and it made a little bit of visual noise, however, it is not bad, maybe it’s because I pay a lot of attention to the spaces and decoration.
January 08 · Abril SueroA charming spot that I was led into by smell alone- and to be allured by aroma on Ditmars is a complement of itself. The service was sweet and helpful. We started with the popcorn chicken and Takoyaki. The 🐙 was truly unique and cooked great. The popcorn chicken was lacking in flavor but the citrus combination created a nice taste. Now onto the main event!! The Hinomaru ramen just called to me. I was delighted by the sweet mixing of poached egg and bone broth- super unique and delicious!! Pork cooked to perfection. Spice level was perfect. Left nothing but clean bowls and full stomachs. Wish there was a coat rack so I didn’t have to put mine on the floor. Great overall. Looking forward to the next time!
January 14 · Vincent GattoDelicious chicken ramen! The broth was rich, the chicken was super tender, and the noodles were just right. The place is very clean and the staff are super friendly and polite. Great vibes all around definitely coming back!
April 14 · Diana GuerreroLast Thursday, I went to Hinomaru for the first time and I must say that their crispy chicken skin is probably the best I’ve ever had, period! The chicken ramen also very tasty! The guy and lady server on that night were so friendly and attentive too despite being slightly busy. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely come back to try other menu!
