This place is seriously amazing!!! The service was so good—everyone was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The fatty tuna hand roll was insane!! It was buttery, super fresh, and just melts in your mouth. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. Everything we ordered was great, but the tuna stole the show. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

Sushi has not been the same for me since I visited Japan, but not anymore! Hiro has an impressive Japanese menu, with all the items I have been missing! We tried the sushi dinner which 13 sushi/sashimi, okonomiyaki, unagi bowl, and 2 chu otoro nigiri’s. The host/server gave excellent service, and the sushi chef was fantastic! He was excited to talk about Japan with us. We can’t wait to come back!

Went here for lunch and it was so good! The first place in a long time to have“Okonomiyaka” as an appetizer and it was on point! Ask for extra sauce for extra goodness.Going to recommend this place for my “Friday Night Dinner” Group!Service was great, friendly, and on point!

The atmosphere was really unique, I felt like I was in an authentic Japanese dojo. I haven’t been to another sushi place in Jacksonville that felt the same. Even the restrooms carried the design aesthetic from the rest of the restaurant. It felt incredibly soothing and relaxing to dine in here. The hostess was very friendly. The chef brightly greeted me with a smile as I walked in, personally brought me the meal, and checked up to ask me how it turned out. The food was delicious, both the steak and the sushi. The complimentary onion rings before the meal and fried Oreo after the meal were a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this location, and I will definitely be back.

Man, the caterpillar roll is so freakin good! First time with seaweed salad and everything mixed well together. Wasabi was great too. Our new go to spot FOR SURE!!!
