Hiyakawa Miami Reviews
Amazing place! It only has 8 tables and sushi bar seating, so the atmosphere is quite intimate. Interrior design is simple yet so beautiful and memorable, just like the dishes they serve. Hiyakawa offers both a la carte and tasting menus. We went with the tasting menu and experienced all types of dishes they offer. The presentation is wonderful as well.
February 18 · KaterinaThe omakase experience at Hiyakawa was pure bliss. Each piece of sushi was a true work of art, crafted with incredible attention to detail. We also complemented our omakase with a few additional dishes, including the wagyu katsu, which was absolutely incredible. The interior was stunning, with tranquil vibes that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The staff was accommodating, and attentive. This was truly one of the best authentic sushi omakase experiences in Miami—I can’t recommend it enough!
November 26 · Emir YunusogluJust had an amazing dinner experience at this Japanese restaurant with my wife. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the nigiri which was incredible! The service was exceptional too. Miguel and our initial server gave us some excellent recommendations. It's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality and service we received. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a great setting!
April 12 · Giancarlo FarinolaTruly the most amazing dining experience of my life and when I say experience I mean EXPERIENCE. Miguel the general manager was incredible at guiding us through the dishes, pouring our glasses, and making us belly laugh. The service never lacked. Every napkin that was dropped by the table was instantly replaced and our table always wiped off every drop. Milo our server was educated on every dish and made sure we had everything we needed. I recommended this place to every person I know. You need to come here at least once. 11/10
May 04 · Briana Shaina10/10 I went with a friend during Art Basel week and we had such a great experience. 8 course meal we complemented it with a small bottle of sake. I also got an Anago hand roll as an addition before the dessert which I highly recommend! You’re paying for a true experience. If you’re curious about whether to get a tasting menu (omakase) or a la carte, choose omakase if you have only had basic Japanese cuisine in your life. This will open your mind up to just how many different cuisines there are in this world that aren’t accessible to us in the U.S., ofcourse unless you go to a restaurant like Hiyakawa.
