Apr 18, 2025 · Vy NguyenI had a great ramen lunch in the heart of downtown Bellevue. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere, though parking can be a bit limited. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a deep spicy taste that made every spoonful satisfying. The noodles had a perfect texture, and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. On top of that, the staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Feb 21, 2025 · ChrisWe started off with salmon katsu. The salmon was overcooked and dry. The dipping sauce was to citrus and sweet/zingy. The breading was already citrus, and the lemon squeezed over it....too much citrus. They told us they didn't have tonkotsu?? But online, it shows them all as that. The toroniku ramen negi Namban. It was just jalapeño water and onion. It wasn't a pleasing spicy for the stomach. I can handle thai xxxtra spicy, too. This spice just was a nauseating flavor. We had to take the bowl back. The noodles were very basic in comparison to other ramen spots. Our server was so amazing, though, pulling chairs out, understanding our displeasure with the ramen. Very polite and kind.
Apr 20, 2025 · expanding curiosityEvery time I ask for a Japanese restaurant recommendation, this one comes highly suggested by Japanese people. We tried it, and it was decent—the portions are large with plenty of meat, and the flavor is good. It’s usually quite busy, so you may have to wait, but the service is fast. That said, having had great ramen elsewhere, I wouldn’t make a special trip to Bellevue just for it.
Feb 17, 2025 · Anastasia ZlPlenty of options in the area, but this one seemed like the best option, and I wasn’t wrong. I ordered the Kara Miso Ramen set with the salmon/ikura and the egg. Everything was fantastic. I love that they offer a “small,” portion for the ramen. The perfect amount of food! The ramen was spicy but not overpowering. The broth had deep flavor, and the toppings were fantastic. The pork was tender and succulent, and the noodles were perfectly chewy. The egg had a perfect, jammy yolk and I was very happy with my experience. The salmon was tasty, the ikura was fresh, and overall a great set for $20! Thank you for bringing me one meal closer to Japan. I wish we had one in New York.
