Ichiban Sushi Reviews
food was below average for the price. only good point was that the salmon sashimi cuts were thick, buttery and didnt taste super frozen, but they were still kinda fishy. for $50 youd expect most things to taste pretty good, but nah.. im sure they use fresh ingredients or whatnot, but the flavors on most dishes were just extremely lack luster. somehow they managed to miss on the miso soup. it just tasted like onions. the spicy salmon nigiri also was shockingly bland. i wouldnt mind that if it wasnt spicy salmon.we got seated immediately, it wasnt super busy.server did her job of taking orders but not much other than that-- unfriendly but not rude. the others looked fine though.the atmosphere was decently fun, decor was nice.overall wouldnt suggest ichiban over any other ayce spot, especially for the price. i'd just go to tokyo/kyoto over this.
April 13 · Justina Nguyenthe food was pretty good (as always, I love tuna sashimi, and the black dragon roll was amazing), but the service made the experience not worth it.our waiter was weird. we weren't able to finish all the food we ordered (look, we *tried*), and as a result he shamed/scolded us. like, I understand food waste is pretty bad and I felt really bad about it, but how he handled the situation just wasn't it.
April 21 · Kyu (Ren)Very high quality sushi. The food tasted great and the presentation was nice. The waiters and staff were also very friendly. All You Can Eat was ≈$50 with tax on a Saturday. Some things they can improve on:- menu is on an iPad; only have 1 iPad for table so everyone has to share the same menu. It’s nice they have photos though.- limit to how much you can order per round- can only make reservations if you have 6 or more people (also ENTIRE party must be there before being seated)Shown Below:Salmon nigiri and salmon sashimi, Fire Roll, Tuna&Cream Roll, Philadelphia Roll, No 9 Roll
April 27 · Sarah WangEach person cost $46, kinda on the expensive side. They do charge the drinks, I did all you can eat for around 5 people and it was around $200The food is good and so is the serviceI enjoyed it very much. The sashimi is fresh and very delicious!!I would definitely come agian if I feel like it’s a special day!But on a daily basis it would be too pricey, overall very good! The bathroom was also nice and pretty clean! My server was very nice and easy to talk to! Everyone was nice and polite to us!Definitely recommend!!
May 06 · Honey_dew Luhhlunch price is such an amazing deal.. only $30 for weekdays! my friend and i ended eating three plates of peppered tuna, two plates of pork gyoza, edamame, 4 or 5 signature sushi rolls, and matcha ice cream. all of it tasted very good and freshly made. my favorite was the peppered tuna. i can’t wait to go back again and try more items. i also loved the decor and plates!!! our server was also very attentive and always made sure our waters were filled and asking if we needed anything or wanted to put another order in.
