Ika San Ramen Reviews
Was obsessed with this place but it’s so inconsistent and the last time I went they changed the recipe to some of my favorite dishes. Tokyo friend chicken and Brussels sprouts are different now and do not taste good (before and after) even tho service was terrible the food always made me come back. I’m missing it now and wish I could get it again but it’s not the same
Apr 21, 2025 · C KI had the spicy seafood ramen, (with less spicy sauce) and some kimchi tempura. Loved it allI recommend my Dad and brother Tonkatsu (they have never had ramen before) they were both happy with their food.I appreciate the unique atmosphere. We had to ask a stranger in the street where the ramen shop was. Didn't see it down the alley. Additional signage may be helpful for first time visitors.Thank you for the wonderful food! Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends.
Sep 01, 2024 · Joy BlacketerWas really mediocre but I went towards closing on a frozen night so maybe that's why? The gorgeous bartender was super nice and the server was cool, although hahaha it was so funny when I asked his favorite rice bowl and he was like "... yeah I don't eat those bruh," love it.Noodles seemed still like frozen or stuck together. Char siu was tough as leather. Broth was OK.Would return to try something else like the rice bowls that guy didn't eat and give it another day chance or more drunk chance, but otherwise first impression was, meh, ok with nothing else open.
Nov 28, 2024 · Trevor CabreraFirst time eating at this place, not that fan of eating noodles but I was very surprised that had some other dishes. The Mongolian beef was excellent my family was pleased. Thanks for the great service also we will definitely come again.
May 24, 2025 · Abraham Wilton**Negative Review for Ika Ramen**I recently visited Ika Ramen at 1114 Jones St, Omaha, NE, after hearing some recommendations, but my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I was struck by the unfriendly demeanor of the waitress, who asked me why I was there, which felt quite off-putting.To make matters worse, my food arrived cold. I mentioned this to the waitress, and she took my bowl back, assuring me they would remake it. However, to my dismay, they returned my same cold bowl instead. At that point, I had lost my appetite, and I promptly asked for the check. I paid and left, disappointed with the service and food quality. I can confidently say that neither I nor my network will ever return to Ika Ramen. Avoid this place if you value good food and service!
