Iron Chef of Central Valley Reviews
I give 4, mainly because the lady server was very nice and friendly and the atmosphere and interior was really nice. Food it self just ok. Ordered their shumay and crab rangoon. I love the crab rangoon but shumay was weird taste, i didnt like it. Taste like frozen shumay been in the fridge for more than months. LOLI ordered Toban Yaki - Beef. Its okay. Not bad, but I expect to be lil bit spicier. I asked for chilli powder they didnt have, I ended up putting pepper.
May 13, 2025 · Miss NVery nice place. The new management did a lot in decorating it. The food is a very high-quality. The prices are reasonable considering how high quality the food is.
May 20, 2025 · William CummingsFirst time back since they reopened a few weeks ago and it was terrible. Will not be returning.Cons:-No hostess station so checking in for a table is an unorganized nightmare even if you have a reservation-Waited 45 minutes for a chef to come to our table-Chef was arguing loudly with staff and rushing our service-We did not get the sake spray or dipping sauces like usual-Took 30 minutes to get our check and pay because they had no idea what anyone ordered and were handwriting / manually adding up checks-They added an automatic 20% tip for a 2 person check and terrible servicePros:-Food was good-Atmosphere is nice
May 25, 2025 · Trina RichPlace looks amazing but the service and food were terrible, super salty to the point where majority of our party didn’t eat. Also usually for hibachi there is like a show and laughs, but our chef was just bland, didn’t do anything just said happy birthday and cooked. He was honestly more focused on the other chefs and what they were doing than trying to make it a fun experience for us. It was really disappointing for a birthday dinner for a young relative. On top of this it took forever to be seen and we also brought a cake that we requested be refrigerated that they just left out on a shelf (ruined the cake) and due to the terrible experience we decided not to even eat it there.
May 04, 2025 · Jeff S.I made reservations at this restaurant for my sister’s birthday and we had an excellent experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. They also followed all food allergy precautions. Then, they surprised my sister with a birthday song that played on surround sound speakers throughout the entire restaurant. I highly recommend this location to anyone who loves a great hibachi spot! Food was delicious and portion sizes were on point as well! We came a second time this year for her birthday, Jason was the one who cooked our hibachi. We came an hour before closing and felt terrible, yet he still made the experience phenomenal. His energy was outstanding. He truly made the restaurant/hibachi experience worthwhile.
