Oct 29, 2023 · Michael PukanskyFood is decent. I liked their skewers, chicken thighs, hearts and livers are the best. Appetizer squid/calamari is really good too. Tempura is not bad, in my opinion it was over fried a little bit. Dessert is good too. Overall food us great and the price is relatively high but worth it. Cocktail sochu oolong is not bad I think it’s not much alcohol in it, but my friend likes it a lot.
Jun 08, 2023 · Wuliao HaoIt is a nice place with good varieties of Japanese street food. I really like the hanger steak. The meat is so tender! The Ika Yaki (grilled squid) was a fave too!
Dec 10, 2023 · Lydia TanOne of the best Japanese restaurants in Chicago that I've been to so far! ❤️ Had a lot from the menu and ended up being too busy eating to take more pics. The karaage was delicious. The uni udon was perfectly creamy. Meat skewers and alcohol selection fantastic! Can't wait to go again.
Nov 09, 2020 · Yumi TaguchiOverall a great experience and will be coming back. Had the oysters, ramen (spicy) and chicken thighs. The oysters I really enjoyed with roe and the chicken thighs were grilled to perfection. Chocolate dipped cheese cake was good.Only issue was the chicken in my ramen I could tell was prepped earlier and kept refrigerated as it was cold in my bowl. I spoke to the server and they gave me more chicken which was appreciated but unnecessary as I just had a lot of chicken at that point.
