Jae's Asian Bistro & Sushi Reviews
We had an amazing experience here! The staff is super friendly and inviting, the food was some of the best Korean cuisine I've had, not to mention (I dont like sushi) the sushi was to die for! I STRONGLY recommend the awesome possum an szechuan chicken. Thankyou so much for the good food and hospitality
May 23, 2025 · Cyruss BlewettI really enjoyed Jae’s, especially the conversation I had with the chef behind the sushi bar (I failed to catch his name, unfortunately). A little on the pricey side but I thought the miso soup was delicious to start, and the size of the salmon bento box surprised me, perhaps only because I’d never ordered a one before. It was pretty big! The salmon was well cooked, the rice was perfect, tempura yummy, and I think my favorite ended up being the gyoza, it was a must try. The waiter was a little new and that showed in knowledgeability but they took direction from the other staff well and were very kind. I housed every last bite of my meal and then really struggled to walk my full belly back up Thomas to where I was staying lol. Overall I had a really nice dine-in experience and would return.
Sep 15, 2024 · Gentry CroleyWow, this unsuspecting neighborhood restaurant was so good! We were expecting run of the mill sushi and Asian fare, but had some really amazing dishes. Our favorites so far have been the Mapo Tofu with eggplant, Beef & Lotus salad, and the sushi rolls. I had fresh sockeye with avocado and it was perfect. There is a cute, quiet patio in the back that is great for dining in the summer months. Super friendly service and kind family who runs it.
Jul 29, 2023 · Lauren RosenbergWill definitely come back. Come here if you want real japanese food. 10 out of 10 restaurants.
Apr 15, 2025 · Dianne TingExtremely disappointed. Made a booking and arrived on time. Awaited 20 mins for our orders to be taken. Waited another 25 mins thereafter for the food to arrive. Mapo tofu was over seasoned, so disgustingly salty that we couldn’t eat it. Bento box’s tempura and gyoza were soggy. Eel maki was the only thing that tasted okay, but there was barely any eel in it. Waiters did not know what they were doing, running around the place, spilling water all over the table — perhaps not their fault, they all looked under age 18 and need more training. For the 3 items, the bill came out to be more than $80. Super overpriced for the quality and poor experience. Worst dining experience I’ve had in Seattle.
