Jo:a Japanese Restaurant Introduce
Situated at 10516 Silverdale Way NW Suite 120 in Silverdale, Washington, Jo:a Japanese Restaurant serves as a notable culinary establishment for those seeking authentic Japanese cuisine. While the platform category "Doctor Near Me" typically aids in locating healthcare providers, in this context, Jo:a Japanese Restaurant offers a distinct form of service: a remedy for culinary desires. Imagine a search for "Doctor Near Me" when you're in need of a comforting, expertly prepared Japanese meal or a vibrant sushi experience; Jo:a Japanese Restaurant presents itself as a key destination in Silverdale to fulfill such cravings.
For individuals residing in or visiting Silverdale, Jo:a Japanese Restaurant, accessible via phone at (360) 692-1380 or +1 360-692-1380, has carved out a significant niche in the local dining scene. It is often recommended as a go-to for sushi and other Japanese delights, aiming to provide a satisfying and memorable dining experience for its patrons.
Based on customer feedback, Jo:a Japanese Restaurant cultivates an environment that encourages regular visits, suggesting a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. While explicit details about the decor or specific interior design elements are not provided, the consistent positive remarks about the overall dining experience imply a pleasant setting conducive to enjoying Japanese food. The fact that customers return frequently and consider it their preferred sushi spot in Kitsap County points to an ambiance that is either inviting, intimate, or simply comfortable enough to foster loyalty. A well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environment is often a subtle yet crucial component of a restaurant's appeal, contributing to the perceived value of the dining experience beyond just the food itself. This suggests that Jo:a Japanese Restaurant successfully creates a space where diners feel at ease and eager to return.
The service at Jo:a Japanese Restaurant receives high praise from a significant portion of its clientele. Customers consistently highlight "amazing service" as a key reason for their repeated visits. A particularly glowing review mentions a waiter named Jung, who is described as "absolutely amazing! So kind and on top of everything!" This level of personal attentiveness and efficiency significantly enhances the dining experience, making customers feel valued and well-cared for. Such dedicated service can transform a simple meal into a delightful occasion, fostering strong customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth recommendations.
However, it is important to provide an objective overview, which includes acknowledging all aspects of customer feedback. One review details a concerning incident where "raw chicken" was served as an appetizer. The customer noted the "pink and undercooked meat" after consuming the first bite and promptly sent it back. While the restaurant did deduct the appetizer from the bill, this experience raised "concern about food safety" for the customer, leading to a reduced inclination to return. This incident, while isolated in the provided reviews, highlights the critical importance of food safety and consistency in food preparation. A restaurant's response to such issues, in this case, a bill adjustment, is a part of their service, but the initial lapse impacts customer trust significantly.
Despite this isolated negative experience, the dominant sentiment regarding service is overwhelmingly positive, with many customers expressing high satisfaction with the staff's kindness and attentiveness. This dichotomy suggests that while there may be occasional operational challenges, the regular service quality is a strong asset for Jo:a Japanese Restaurant.
Jo:a Japanese Restaurant is primarily recognized for its **sushi**, which is consistently described by many as "always delicious" and a primary reason for their visits. The restaurant is considered the "only place my husband and I go for sushi in Kitsap County" by one enthusiastic reviewer, underscoring its reputation for quality sushi in the region. This suggests a consistent standard in the preparation and freshness of their sushi offerings, which is paramount for any Japanese restaurant specializing in raw fish.
Beyond sushi, the broader "Japanese Restaurant" designation implies a menu that likely extends to other traditional Japanese dishes, although specific examples were not detailed in the provided reviews. The incident with the chicken appetizer, while negative, indicates that the menu includes cooked items beyond sushi. The mixed feedback on "the rest of the food at dinner was ok" suggests that while sushi is a strong suit, other dishes might vary in consistency or appeal for some diners. The "high prices" were also mentioned as a potential deterrent for one customer, implying that the restaurant positions itself on the higher end of the pricing spectrum for Japanese cuisine in the area. This suggests that the value proposition of Jo:a Japanese Restaurant is often tied to the perceived quality and experience, especially with their sushi offerings.
While no explicit promotional campaigns or specials were detailed, the most compelling promotion for Jo:a Japanese Restaurant comes directly from its loyal customer base. The strong recommendations and consistent repeat business, particularly for its sushi, serve as powerful testimonials. The fact that it is considered the top sushi spot in Kitsap County by some customers is an invaluable form of word-of-mouth marketing, attracting new diners through its established reputation for delicious sushi and excellent service.
For local users in Silverdale and those seeking "Japanese food near me," Jo:a Japanese Restaurant presents itself as a reputable option, especially for sushi lovers. Its consistent ability to deliver delicious sushi, coupled with a highly attentive service staff, establishes its value within the community. While the isolated food safety concern is a point to note, the overall positive sentiment and strong customer loyalty suggest that Jo:a Japanese Restaurant remains a significant and valued part of Silverdale's dining landscape, catering to a consistent demand for high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Jo:a Japanese Restaurant Reviews
I was served raw chicken last night. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until after I ate the first big bite; it tasted terrible and didn't feel like the texture of chicken. So I got my phone out and turned on the flashlight... sure enough, it was pink and undercooked meat (despite what the restaurant says). I took a photo before sending it back to kitchen. They just deducted that one appetizer from my bill. The rest of the food at dinner was ok. My family usually likes their sushi; but between the high prices and my concern about food safety now, I'm less inclined to go back.
Mar 01, 2025 · Josh MI absolutely love coming here! The sushi is always delicious!! I also love the amazing service we always get. We used to come often and see a waitress who is no longer there but we've been seeing Jung and he is absolutely amazing! So kind and on top of everything! I highly recommend this place! It's the only place my husband and I go for sushi in kitsap county!
Mar 01, 2025 · MariaIt's been a while since we've been here.To be honest, it'll be our last. I use to like this spot, but ever since ownership change its been a different vibe. The identity is lost for sure. When you see a restaurant that says Japanese Restaurant, you expect mainly Japanese food. Now it's Japanese, but mixed with Korean lol. The prices are high now. Explain: the bento use to be 20. Now it's 30 and nothing is different about it. They now sell soju, have Korean music playing, and the menu is Japanese mixed with Korean. My lady got karaage and a sushi roll. I got the Korean miso ramen. The karaage was pretty sad. It's like they use a corn meal mix. The ramen was definitely instant ramen from the store. I mean I don't mind instant ramen, but the presentation was a zero, and the fact it was $16 was annoying. I understand homemade ramen is not a huge thing is Korea, but if you're going to sell something from another country at least give it the flair it deserves.Overall, we don't plan to come back. It's sad that this restaurant is showing desperation and confusion.
Aug 22, 2024 · chrisBcream productionsChris was our server tonight, he was FANTASTIC. He mentioned he had only been working there for 4 months and made great recommendations and was very knowledgeable and friendly! The sushi was super fresh and the flavors were balanced and not too salty (or covered in unnecessary sauces). The sushi really spoke for itself! I was impressed. As someone who is always on the hunt for hot sushi spots this was very memorable! (I recommend the Lemon Salmon roll)Thanks Chris for being our server! We will see you again!! :)
Feb 16, 2025 · Kathleen FentonI stopped here and have to say I was surprised at the quality of sushi. I am always cautious when someone claims how good sushi is at a place. It was fantastic. Wish I had taken some pictures of the specialty roles, i.e., Kona and Firecracker Roles. Staff was on point. Knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be back
