Kappo Nara Ramen Reviews
First & definitely wont be our last time here! This place is like a hole in the wall, like I鈥檓 back in Japan again. I liked how small & personable it was.Not the best quality pics lol but we were too excited to eat! We ordered chicken katsu curry and the sauce was perfectly sweet & creamy like in Japan. My husband really enjoyed the chicken katsu! I had a veryyy large bowl of shoyu ramen that I shared with my kids, and they loved the noodles and broth. I wish I asked for pork belly though, I think mine came with chasu? I don鈥檛 remember鈥ot pictured: karaage (literally THE best one I鈥檝e had here in the states, besides Vegas), & some boba teas馃Overall, we really enjoyed this place. We liked how kid friendly it was, the staff were very patient & welcoming. The prices were also very reasonable, which we liked. I think we spent under $70 for everything.
Mar 23, 2025 路 M.Very decently priced compared to other ramen places in VB! I like going here with friends because the price is reasonable, and we can also order boba tea at Ninja Tea! I also love that you can take polaroid photos if you dine in. The polaroid photos definitely make the restaurant much cozier and inviting. As for food, they do have a good selection of rice and ramen dishes, and the appetizers' choices are also decently diverse. The ramen broth is rather salty, however. The ramen would taste just fine if the salt level is reduced (umami vs saltiness are two very different things). The katsu can be a bit dried at times - I think this is probably because the meat cut is thinner than usual katsu cuts, so the meat gets dried out when fried. Lastly, the steamed rice can taste mildly soggy at times (maybe because it's cooked in big batches).
Apr 18, 2025 路 Chi Mai NFirst time ordering from Kappo Nara Ramen, my wife wanted some Ramen soup. It's 3-star because of unpleasant experience. When I was giving my order over the phone, I was rushed. Lady said, she has another customer, like she's not talking to one. I decided to cut my order short and just decided to get less items. After picking up my order, halfway back home I received a phone call. It's from Kappo Nara. I was told there's one more bag that she forgot to give me so I turned around to pick it up. Got home and open up the forgotten item and it was a mess. It wasn't packed properly. Good part is my wife liked her Ramen. I didn't try any.
Apr 16, 2025 路 Sonny DThis is my all time favorite ramen destination. The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent! I enjoy the veggie gyozas, chashu baos, and the tonkotsu ramen (plain with chashu, chili oil and garlic. I also sub the noddles for rice gf noodles since I can鈥檛 have the regular noodles) The bubble tea is also a great place for some tasty drinks! My husband enjoys the ramen as well but loves the Katsu Curry! We love it here so much we brought a bunch of our friends to enjoy this delicious cuisine! The atmosphere is amazing with Polaroid pictures of people who鈥檝e dined here lining the walls. I鈥檓 so sad we moved away from this place but every chance we get we come back and it鈥檚 still as good as we remember it! 10000/10 (I wish I could take this Kappo Nara every where I go)
Jan 07, 2025 路 Hailey LWe had a great time. Stayed for about an hour and a half. Several families came with small children. They seem to have enjoyed the food. The server was right on point. He approached the table numerous times to ensure we had what we needed or desired anything else.
