Kimen Ramen & Izakaya Reviews
I came here because my friend recommended it, and even though I’m not a big fan of ramen, this place really surprised me. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out really fast. I loved the Menchi Katsu Tamago appetizer, it was so good! My Katsu Curry Don was delicious, and my boyfriend liked his ramen too. The restaurant is small and cozy, perfect for a date night. I’d definitely come back!😋
February 27 · seulki kimThis tiny restaurant is open pretty late. It's another option for those who want to get a bite late at night. The kimen ramen we got was pretty tasty. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were just the right texture. We really enjoyed our food. I usually don't eat all of my broth but at this restaurant I had all of it because the flavor was pretty good.
May 24 · Thu-Nga Ortega, DDS, MAGDDelicious food. This restaurant is cozy and perfect on a chilly day. Definitely has a hole in a wall feel but the service is good and the food comes out piping hot! Wish they had more tables but we got there early and were able to snag a table. It was just me and my young child; he loved the food!
January 12 · H ASince we missed happy hour by five mins, I thought we were ordering a shot or glass of sake instead we were hoodwinked, bamboozled. He brought over a bottle, so he could have said it comes by the bottle. We thought ginjo(blue bottle) sake chilling behind the bar. We said you could take the bottle back, we didn't like it, it tasted very bitter. He told us, it by the bottle, he didn't tell us that.Overall, we didn't want to tip, but did anyway, the food was good. But they have to do better in up-selling. Have to tell the customer if they pick the bottle off the wall, they are paying for the bottle. Since this is our first time being here, we don't know the rules. Don't argue with the customer either.
April 16 · Michele LovingWe had an OK experience here at this Kimen. The ramen had a funny smell to it but it still tasted good, the pork donburi was okay. They forgot the egg on top and the rice was a little dry. They also forgot to bring out the Karaage that we ordered. The server was very nice, she got us our egg and apologized about the missing part so our order. I don’t blame them much, it was only one server and it might have been an off day. Still, I prefer the centerville Kimen.
