Hey, we found this awesome little Japanese place, Kozuki, and it's already one of our go-to spots! It's got such a cozy vibe, like you've stumbled onto a hidden gem. The food is amazing – seriously authentic and delicious. We had the gyoza, perfectly crispy outside, juicy inside; the ramen was so comforting and flavorful, the broth was unreal; and the octopus dumplings were a total surprise, so soft and subtly delicious. You can tell the chefs really care about the ingredients and how they cook things. Plus, it's not expensive at all, especially for the quality. The service was great too, super friendly and helpful. If you want amazing Japanese food without breaking the bank, you gotta try Kozuki. We're totally going back! - ilya leadership

Features: Authentic Flavors and Culinary Excellence

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya is celebrated for its commitment to authentic Japanese flavors and traditional cooking methods. The restaurant's food is described as "amazing," "seriously authentic," and "delicious" by real customers. A key feature that sets Kizuki apart is their unique method of roasting bones before boiling for their broths, a technique similar to the French style of making consommé. Kizuki was the first in the Japanese ramen industry to employ this method, resulting in broths that are incredibly rich, flavorful, fragrant, and full of depth. If equivalent ingredients aren't found in the U.S., Kizuki imports them directly from Japan to maintain the highest level of authenticity and quality.

The menu boasts a variety of crowd favorites. Their Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Belly is particularly renowned, described as "perfection in a bowl" with an "incredibly rich and packed with flavor" broth and noodles that are "ideal balance, neither too soft nor too firm." Other popular ramen options include the Shoyu Ramen, Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Spicy Ramen, and Yuzu Shio Ramen, which features a delicate pork and chicken bone broth with a citrusy yuzu finish. For those seeking vegetarian options, Kizuki offers a flavorful Vegetable Ramen made with shiitake mushroom broth, which can be customized with kale noodles or tofu. They also offer a low-sodium option for various ramen dishes, catering to different dietary needs.

Beyond ramen, the izakaya (small plates) menu offers delectable options. Customer favorites include the Pork Gyoza, lauded for being "perfectly crispy outside, juicy inside," and the Takoyaki Octopus Dumplings, which are a delightful surprise – "so soft and subtly delicious." Other popular izakaya dishes include Chicken Karaage, Agedashi Tofu, and various types of Japanese buns and rice balls. The consistent quality across their menu is a testament to the chefs' dedication to ingredients and cooking techniques.

Promotional Information: Value and Offers

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya provides excellent value for the quality of food and service offered, with customers noting that it's "not expensive at all, especially for the quality." While specific, time-limited promotions may vary, the restaurant frequently offers special deals that enhance the dining experience. For instance, some promotions have included a Complimentary Chicken Karaage for the table with the purchase of a Ramen, providing an extra treat for diners. Additionally, there are often discounts for pickup orders, such as 10% off for pickup orders, making it even more appealing for those opting for takeout. It's always a good idea to check their website or inquire directly about current promotions to make the most of your visit.

Whether you're a ramen aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine, Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya offers a memorable and satisfying experience. Its commitment to authentic flavors, combined with a welcoming environment and attentive service, makes it a must-visit destination in Bellevue.
