Ko Sushi Reviews
Wednesday Afternoon at 2pm.I was seated right away. The waiter/waitress who brought me in were very friendly and efficient when taking me to my table and placing my order.I ordered:Large Combination Box Special with Chicken Teriyaki and Fried Matcha Ice creamIn total without tip: 30.15.With the amount of food provided I believe this was worth it but I have some suggestions/comments for my meal. The miso soup was great. It had a good amount of miso paste added to it which I loved.I personally think the bento box was just okay. The chicken was surprisingly nice and soft but wished it had more of a crispy coating. Towards the end of the meal it started to get soggy. The rice and salad were fine but the worst for me was the shumai. The wrapper it self was way too wet and mushy for me.The nigiri sampler/cali roll was better than the bento. I wouldn't say its the freshest cut of sashimi but it was a satisfying side to the meal.I finished with the fried matcha icecream. My personal recommendation would be to put the fried icecream in a bowl. I think it would make it easier to eat versus it sliding around on the plate while eatting. Another important detail I noticed was that it came automatically with chocolate drizzle. There was not mention when I wanted this when I ordered nor did I see anywhere on the menu that it would come with chocolate on top. I would say this is the biggest alert because I have a friend who is highly allergic to chocolate and this would have been a problem if she had this dessert.Overall, I did have a good experience at Ko Sushi. The wait staff was welcoming and attentive with a relaxing environment/vibe to the restaurant.

Mar 17, 2025 · THE EXPLORERTAKE OUT ONLY. Ordered the unagi don lunch special for $13.90 (huge saving from their dinner price of $21). It came with 3 gyozas, salad, and soup! Such a good deal!! The eel was very generous in portion, super tender, sauce was not too sweet, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to try their sushi next time!
Dec 06, 2024 · Steph WVery pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is bigger than it looks outside, seating was private and comfortable. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. We all enjoyed our meal. Also, very surprisingly, the prices were more than reasonable. I will be back soon
Mar 12, 2025 · Jim DemetriosThe unagi don was the perfect choice for a light lunch. Good portion, cooked well, flavorful, and inexpensive. Side of edamame with just a little sea salt. I left happy and full.
