Koji Osakaya Japanese Restaurant Reviews
This an authentic Japanese restaurant that has apparently been in Portland for many years. I had the beef curry with udon noodles and it was delicious. Addictively delicious! At first I thought it was a little too soupy, but I was wrong, it was perfect. The best curry I've had since coming to Portland 2 years ago. My daughter had the miso pork cutlet and it was really tender. The staff was so kind and attentive. We will definitely go again. The man at the table next to us, told the waitress the same thing. Unfortunately, I ate the noodles before I remembered to take a picture.
April 18 · Laura BogenBest Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. Fish is high quality, fresh, presented beautifully, and won't break your bank. The deluxe assorted sushi is currently $35. Bento box lunch special is delicious as well.
February 23 · grey skyedOrdered soba noodles and a miso katsu don bowl and everything was so delicious!! If u want a taste of traditional Japanese food with dishes you don’t see too often - give this place a try. ❤️❤️ Can’t wait to come back!!
March 31 · Rajsha OrtegaI had my first visit to Koji this week, and I left the place so happy and satisfied! You can tell that they prep everything fresh and with care.Their white fish tempura was so light and delicious that you must try (I heard their kabocha squash tempura was also really good). If you want to venture out new kinds of fish, their nigiri will be a perfect choice. I had kurodai (black sea bream), sima-aji (striped jack), and ikura (salmon roe) among many others, and I'm glad I did :-9 And I'm from Hokkaido!Their service was also excellent and welcoming with charming servers. If you're in PDX, Koji should be on your list : )
March 15 · Ryoka KimI really enjoyed Nobu's food. He's a great chef, and the passion he puts on the food is translated into a great taste. My reccomendation is: try the Mackerel.
