Our server, Connor, was delightful. Our food was amazing. The environment didn't give the date night vibe we were looking for but it didn't take away too much. We had spicy tuna rolls, spicy salmon rolls, chicken hibachi and spicy chicken bimbibap. The bimbibap was sooooo good. The drinks were tasty and strong. They gave us a special anniversary treat and it was so decadent. While we were looking for a dark, romantic, cozy place to have a romantic dinner, I think this gave us the closeness we really wanted. I would go back here again.

Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant and the service. My sister and I are both vegan, which can make ordering difficult at times. Unfortunately there is quite a lot of fish sauce in many of the dishes, but our server (Michael) was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure that all of our food was vegan and fish sauce free. We had to change up our order a bit, and it honestly turned out amazing! The spicy kooma dish was very tasty, as was the mushroom soup. Would recommend! :)

My first time to Kooma. We had a reservation and got right in on our designated time. Hostess was polite and seated us. Server was polite. However, didn't know the food menu very well. The restaurant was failry clean. This is not a place for a quiet meal, it is very loud and the lights and color scheme give a njght club vibe. The drink menu is very extensive, many martini options (around $13-15). The short rib appatizer were so good. Edamame appitizer was also very good. We had a part of 6, our drinks and appatizers came out quickly (under 15 minutes). When ordering dinner we asked the server about specific menu items, and he did not know the ingredients of certain dishes. Our meals came 45 minutes after ordering them (the place was busy but not packed. Our meals were warm (meals that were meant to be warm). The sushi was good, not the greatest, but still very good. Our server only came once after we got our meals, and we had to ask for more water. The bathroom was clean with an exception of 1st stall being clogged.

I live in WC and frequent Kooma every other month or so.This review is constructive criticism for Kooma, so you can do better. First, the restaurant always smells like cleaning chemicals. This needs to stop. Second, my tables are almost always sticky when I sit down. They need to be clean and rarely are. Third, your staff cleans tables with a spray bottle of cleaner. I was sitting and eating while your staff cleaned a table next to me and sprayed cleaner. I don't want to smell or taste your cleaning products. This seems like an amateur thing for an established restaurant to do. Use a bucket of clean starsan and sanitize tables without over spraying cleaner in the dining room. And last, it seems like it has been years since the restaurant had an update. When I go in, often chairs are broken, tables wobble. The place is just getting older. I think its time to dump some money back into the place and hold it down as WC's longest tenured sushi spot...amidst new competitors showing up regularly. Aside from that, the food is usually good. No complaints.

Hello everyone. Today we visited Kooma in West Chester. The senter of the city is clean old and nice to have i great walk here. And you can stop by Kooma to eat some good food. I have seen some bad comments, but i would not say any bad. Good food, good drinks, not the best but still good service. Just regular sushi place. I would come here again. Recommended to everyone who wants to eat some Asian foodPeace!
