Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of noodles, a fresh sushi roll, or an authentic taste of Osaka, Kui Shin Bo provides a reliable and enjoyable option right here in our California community. While specific, regularly advertised "promotions" like fixed-percentage discounts might not be widely publicized for Kui Shin Bo, their menu structure itself offers inherent value and several ways for locals to enjoy their extensive offerings at reasonable prices:
- Extensive Lunch Options: Given their vast menu of ramen, donburi, and various set meals, it's highly likely they offer attractive lunch specials, which typically provide a more affordable way to sample their dishes during midday hours. (While specific "lunch specials" aren't detailed in the provided reviews, the existence of so many individual meal categories strongly suggests this.)
- Reasonable Pricing: Many of their dishes are individually priced, and based on the menu listings, appear to be competitively priced for the quality and portion sizes offered in San Francisco's dining scene, making it a good value. For example, many ramen bowls are in the $15-$18 range, and Donburi are around $16-$25.
- Combo Platters: For sushi lovers, they offer assorted sushi and sashimi combos and platters that can provide good value for groups or individuals looking to sample a variety of items. Examples include Assorted Sushi (6 nigiri, 8 maki for $29.99) and Sushi & Sashimi Combo ($35.99).

Kui Shin Bo Reviews
We enjoyed everything — veggie okonomiyaki, sushi, fried squid. Very extensive menu! Okonomiyaki tasted as good as Osaka. The rest wasn’t the best Japanese food I’ve ever had but yummy, no complaints. Nice hole in the wall vibe and fast service. We will be back.
February 15 · Rhiannon PayneFun restaurant, good food but lacking a bit of flavor in my opinion. The garlic noodles were great, but the ramen’s brother lacked flavor.Good for walk in.
May 05 · Cory Andersongot take out here, and i got the creamy mushroom ramen — i felt like it lacked flavor and was just a little bland! good portion sizes and they packaged it well but was lacking flavor. also wish it had tofu (some kind of plant protein). service was good but it did take a minute for them to make the food! my friend got the volcano and caterpillar roll and loved both! would not go back for the ramen tho haha
May 03 · Ananya MaheshIt’s really a cozy place which offers really great sushi’s . This was my first time having sushi in SF and had great experience at Khi Shin Bo. All the prices are reasonable and food quality is grt
May 04 · INDERPREET SINGHIncredibly mediocre food. Okonomiyaki was good though. Also their “spicy beef curry” is not Japanese curry at ALL. It’s a bland beef stew. It’s a shame because I was really craving Japanese curry today! We ended up spending $40 per person (yikes) and enjoyed pretty much none of the food. Service was good though
