In the dynamic and diverse culinary landscape of Bellevue, Washington, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar offers a truly unique and engaging dining experience that goes beyond the conventional. While the platform category "Doctor Near Me" is typically associated with healthcare services, it can be broadly interpreted to encompass solutions that contribute to well-being and efficient living. In this sense, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar provides a service that promotes a different kind of "well-being" – the satisfaction of a **fresh, surprisingly delicious, and quick meal** in a highly innovative setting. Just as one might seek a doctor for efficient diagnosis and treatment, Kura provides an efficient, entertaining, and satisfying dining solution for those seeking quality food with a touch of novelty.
Conveniently located at **266 116th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA**, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar has quickly become a destination for both locals and visitors. The restaurant’s phone number, **(360) 822-9333** or **+1 360-822-9333**, is readily available for inquiries, though much of the ordering process is automated, reflecting its modern approach. Kura is renowned for its signature revolving conveyor belt system, a hallmark of its unique and interactive dining concept.
The environment at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a blend of modern efficiency and playful innovation. The most striking feature of the dining area is undoubtedly the **dish track (conveyor belt)** that winds through the restaurant, presenting a continuous parade of colorful sushi plates. This visual spectacle immediately captures attention and adds an element of excitement to the meal. Beyond the conveyor belt, the atmosphere is further enhanced by **little robots that bring your food and drink** for special orders, adding a futuristic and entertaining touch that delights diners of all ages. While specific details on lighting and decor are not provided, the emphasis on technological delivery suggests a clean, well-lit, and functional space designed for a smooth and engaging dining experience. The overall ambiance is designed to be **cool** and interactive, making it a memorable spot for families, friends, or even solo diners looking for something out of the ordinary.
---The service model at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is highly automated and technologically driven, setting it apart from traditional dining establishments. The primary mode of ordering is **through a screen** located at each booth, allowing diners to browse the **very large menu** and place orders independently. These special orders are then **delivered via the conveyor belt or robot**, ensuring remarkable speed and efficiency. This system minimizes the need for direct server interaction for ordering and delivery, yet the staff remain a crucial part of the overall experience. Customers report that the **staffs were polite, fast, and efficient when settling the bill (cash)**, indicating that while the technology handles much of the food delivery, human interaction remains personable and effective for essential services. This balance of high-tech convenience and courteous human assistance contributes to a seamless and enjoyable dining experience, making it a highly efficient option for those seeking a quick and satisfying meal.
---Kura Revolving Sushi Bar boasts several distinguishing features that contribute to its popularity and unique appeal. The most prominent feature is its **innovative automated delivery system**. The **revolving conveyor belt** constantly showcases a wide array of sushi and other small plates, allowing diners to simply pick what appeals to them as it passes by. For specific orders or items not on the belt, the **touch screen ordering system** and subsequent delivery by either the conveyor belt's "express lane" or a dedicated **robot** are major highlights. This system not only adds an element of fun and novelty but also ensures that **special orders came very quickly** directly to the diner's booth, enhancing efficiency and freshness. This blend of entertainment and speed aligns with the "Doctor Near Me" concept of finding efficient solutions to immediate needs, in this case, hunger.
Beyond the technological marvels, the **food quality** is surprisingly high. Despite the initial low expectations of some customers, the food is described as **"actually pretty decent"** and "very fresh." While most plates are **the same or close to the same pricing around $4**, which offers excellent value, the quality does not seem to be compromised. Specific dishes garner high praise, such as the **"surprisingly delicious" sweet prawn** and a highly recommended **spicy scallop roll**. The menu's vastness ensures a **ton of options** on the belt, catering to diverse tastes. Another unexpected delight is the **Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna**, praised for its unique "sticky rice" like base that "was even tastier" than expected. Even non-sushi items like the **Chili Garlic Chicken** are a hit, with its thin grilled chicken breast and a sauce that perfectly complements both meat and vegetables, appealing even to those who "ain't really a fan of vegetables."
Kura also incorporates a playful element with its **"Bikkura Pon" prize system**, where every 15 plates traded in earns a prize (like a keychain). While customers note that 15 plates can be "a lot," the option to simply buy the keychain for $3.95 adds a consumer-friendly alternative to the game, contributing to the family-friendly atmosphere.
---Kura Revolving Sushi Bar naturally promotes itself through its highly interactive and unique dining concept. The "really cool spot with dish track, and little robots that bring your food and drink" is a significant draw, serving as a powerful visual and experiential promotion. Emphasizing the **"atmosphere and the food"** as reasons to visit is a strong promotional strategy. Highlighting the freshness of the food and the speed at which "special orders came very quickly" are key selling points for those seeking both quality and efficiency.
The relatively consistent and affordable pricing (around $4 per plate) is a strong incentive, especially for families or groups looking for a fun and economical dining experience. Promotional messaging could highlight this value, particularly for the wide variety of options available. While not explicitly stated as a promotion, the "Bikkura Pon" prize system inherently encourages more plate consumption and adds a fun, family-friendly element that acts as a subtle loyalty program, drawing in repeat visits.
Managing expectations regarding **wait times** is also a crucial piece of promotional information; advising customers "don’t arrived too hungry" subtly encourages planning and indicates the restaurant's popularity. This transparency builds trust. Overall, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar can leverage its innovative technology, fresh and surprisingly good food, and unique interactive elements to attract a wide range of diners looking for a memorable and satisfying meal in Bellevue.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar Reviews
I came here for the first time not expecting much and I was surprised that the food was actually pretty decent. There was only one thing I didn't like, but everything else was good. Sweet prawn was surprisingly delicious. I forgot to take picture as I was eating pretty fast in the beginning. There wasn't a lot of service since everything was ordered through a screen and delivered via the conveyor belt or robot. But the staffs were polite, fast, and efficient when we were settling the bill (cash).15 plates to trade in for a keychain was a lot though, easier to just buy it at $3.95. :)I would definitely go back again next time I travelled there. The wait time can be long though, so don't arrived too hungry.
May 13, 2025 · PearobearoReally cool spot with dish track, and little robots that bring your food and drink. But it’s not all show no go. The food was very fresh and special orders came very quickly. I loved that you could order right from the booth and it was to you quick. The menu was very large and the belt had a ton of options. Almost all the plates were the same or close to the same pricing around $4.I highly recommend checking this place out both for the atmosphere and the food.
May 07, 2025 · Devon GrogansAlways such a fun experience. The sushi is varied and quite tasty. The soy sauce has a sweet taste that goes well with the beef rolls. The toro tuna is fantastic as well. After every 5 plates a movie plays and after 15 you get a toy. I recommend getting the app to see how many plates you can do over time.
Mar 21, 2025 · Wayne LuccheseKura was a cool conveyor belt sushi spot which ended up being a nice Thursday dinner. Service throughout was congenial and helpful - for sure the highlight. The atmosphere inside was energetic and interior design perfectly functional - our conveyor belt completely stopped several times during our meal however (there may have been technical difficulties.) Food variety was solid, and on average food quality/taste was decent but not great. Would come back for the experience, but not necessarily because of standout sushi.
Mar 07, 2025 · Jeremy YowellGreat customer service, very friendly servers, and kitchen staff are quick with the tablet orders. Best to eat during lunch if you don’t want to wait too long during dinner time. Don’t be shy asking for a tutorial on how to grab plates (rather have you learn how than watch someone take the whole thing off the belt, lol).To prevent long wait times, especially during dinner peak hours, download the app add yourself to the waitlist on your way to the restaurant because it’ll make a huge difference to knock some time off than waiting in the parking lot. They have a great notification system via text to let you know when to checkin at the front. Can’t wait to visit the Lynnwood location once it opens.Photos/videos are our typical orders.
