had a fantastic experience at Mama Sushi in Dyckman! We ordered the shofan and a variety of sushi, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced — you can really tell the ingredients are high quality. The vibe at the restaurant was lively and fun, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our meal. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of and can just relax and enjoy great food.Highly recommend Mama Sushi if you’re in the area — I’ll definitely be coming back!
May 21 · Yahaira GarciaParking is horrendous. A lot of experimenting on the food not so bad a lot of great choices but a little weird choices definitely a different take on sushi. I gotta get on top of your server. Don’t forget about you. Definitely well. Takes a little bit of time to get there so be patient that you be happy.
November 14 · Marcel RodriguezFood was tasty. We ordered the Chef's choice sushi platter for 2. I thought that platter was amazing and extremely flavorful. Quantity of food was good. We asked for water (like at any other place) and they served us 2 bottles of distilled water for $8 each which took me by surprise. They also added an 18% grad tip to the bill, and they removed the itemized bill from the final moment when I got my credit card back so I almost double tipped. Sneaky if you ask me.Otherwise, I had a great experience, I would go again and just get sushi.
May 18 · Alex Javad (AJ)Was my 1st time here, and I can't complain about it. Was easy to find parking since I went early, the food and drinks were really good. Good service. I would recommend trying the jack veneno since it was my favorite roll.
October 08 · Dariana BatistaLiterally ordered a Kami salad and shrimp tempura roll to go. The Kanj salad didn’t come with mayo or the plantain like it’s supposed to. I didn’t realize until I got home not really sure why it was $20. If it was missing the stuff that usually comes with.
