Menya Ramen House Reviews
Very good ramen! Two solid vegan options - my sister and I each had one and they were both delicious. Good portion sizes, and the blistered shishito peppers made for a tasty appetizer. The staff were very friendly and inviting, the vibes inside were great!
Apr 21, 2025 · Max GarvalI’ve been a regular at Menya’s Metuchen location, so when I saw their Ridgewood branch pop up on Google Maps, I thought why not?✨ The vegan ramen? It absolutely SLAPS. No exaggeration, this is hands down the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. And I don’t say that lightly I take my ramen very seriously. On top of that, Sylvia, who was handling the entire place by herself, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Her warmth genuinely made my day. People like her are what make dining out feel special. Thank you, Sylvia! 💛I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.If you’re craving quality ramen, Menya is the real deal
May 24, 2025 · Divya AGreat ramen.I would always go for thick soup but truffle shio from Menya is my exception.Hostess is always so friendly to customers and knowledgeable about their menu.
Mar 15, 2025 · Stephen SiuWhen you first walk in, the atmosphere is inviting and very clean. Despite the restaurants cleanliness, the prices are astonishingly high for the quality and portion of the food. A half full bowl of noodles with three tiny portions of chicken is priced at $17. Adding an additional egg is a couple of bucks extra. The portion sizes were underwhelming, and a $13 bowl of rice and chicken was the size of the palm of my hand. Overall, I wouldn’t come back to this restaurant.
Dec 03, 2024 · A.Hakim JararahFirst time visiting this ramen stop in Ridgewood. I really liked the atmosphere and the service was great, but the ramen was so-so. This review is specifically for the Truffle Shio.Pros:-Broth was nice and light-Chicken was well cookedCons:-Egg was cold and overdone. The yolk should be glossy and the egg shouldn't taste like it just came out of the refrigerator.-Noodles were too thin and reminiscent of instant noodles. Ramen noodles should have more texture and a bite back sensation. Even those I asked for them to undercook the noodles, they were still lackluster.-Raw red onions do not work in ramen. I couldn't drink the soup without getting a bitter red onion taste. There's a reason scallions are preferred.Overall maybe worth trying, but if you want real ramen, head further south to the Fort Lee area.
