Miraku Boston

9 Babcock St, Brookline, MA 02446, USA

4.0
Our first visit to Miraku, we very much enjoyed the ramens and dessert. The Shoyu and Sesame Ramen broths were very flavorful and noodles nicely al dente with a good chew. The fried chicken was crispy and had a tasty dipping sauce at the bottom. The chiffon cake was fluffy and not too sweet. The vanilla ice cream was meh but we found out later that we could choose a different ice cream flavor with that dessert. Will try matcha next time.Overall, the food was very good, though pricier than most other ramen places in the area. The egg was extra on the ramen and the portions are smaller than Ganko's ramen half a block away. But, this is serious competition for Ganko. Ganko has larger pieces and better tasting pork belly but we enjoyed the ramen broth flavors here more. It's also smart for them to serve desserts. Sometimes it's great to get a little something sweet to finish the meal. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is small and space is a bit tight. We didn't know we needed another ramen restaurant in the neighborhood, and we greatly welcome this new addition. - Amber C
